October 24, 20196 yr I voted yes but I can understand no. Especially since, here, whenever we have new information, no matter how amazing it is, the positivity lasts about 15 minutes before people start poking holes in every little thing. I’m not sure how useful that would be to have the general public doing that throughout the beta process. That also lends itself to losing control of the product narrative among the general public before it even releases, which is not a positive thing.
October 24, 20196 yr I voted No, for the reasons already mentioned by others, however what I would like MS to allow is for Alpha testers to post what their PC specs and Internet connections are, and what kind of fps they're were getting with different setups. That way we could get an idea of what hardware and Internet we need. Maybe when the forum comes up on the Insider site, MS could monitor the posts, before they were posted to be sure that nothing else was revealed. Maybe the forum will be a closed one just for Alpha / Beta testers, but let's hope not. Jorn Lundtoft I don't always stop and look at airplanes.........Oh wait, Yes I do. That's almost certainly one of the top reasons they don't want people posting about their testing. It's far too early for this info to be accurate and it would almost certainly be turned into evidence the new sim is an unoptimized disaster by some.
October 24, 20196 yr Yeah - I can think of lots of reasons we would want information out... I can't think of any reasons MS/Asobo would really benefit from it though (unless we really start stretching).
October 24, 20196 yr Yeh? My wife's grandfather had a frequent saying. Cr*p in one hand and predict in the other and see what you have more of! Take some time off, focusing on flying today's simulators. Then let's see what comes on release and quit all this speculating and fantasizing. October 25, 20196 yr I closed this poll as it is premature and unnecessary at this juncture. If you are selected for Tech Alpha one or two you will be under NDA which Microsoft takes very seriously.
