November 6, 20196 yr I have pretty much covered all my area interests of flight with Ortho4XP at z17/19-4 In the pursuit of that, I noticed time and time again, that the servers had uploaded different time-of-season tiles...where you could be flying along over Spring, Summer, and Fall. I have not seen Winter ever. But stating that...I have a suggestion for those invested in Ortho4XP. As you fly around, viewing tiles along your flight path...have pen and paper ready....as you fly, if you see a season that you lean toward...just make note of any of the airports, for instance, where it was obvious that Fall was in effect with the color of forestry showing the leaves turning...etc...and then, simply, if you want to fly today (over Ortho4XP tiles) in let's say the Fall...just start your flight at the airport that is surrounded by an Ortho4XP tile taken in the Fall months. Same for Spring or Summer. That does work to set up the flight month 'mood' you are looking for. Being that probably one or two tiles surrounding that airport will have also been taken in that particular month...you can have Spring, Summer, Fall, anytime you want, despite X Plane not supporting that feature, product wide.... This is what I do...and truly, it gets the 'seasonal mood' taken care of, for now. A suggestion... Edited November 6, 20196 yr by Sesquashtoo
November 6, 20196 yr Or you could simply wait until you are in the mood for some summer flying and then fire up X-Plane and fly pretty much anywhere using the default scenery! 😂 Cheers, Jan

November 8, 20196 yr https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/44351-four-seasons-now-with-compatible-seasonal-packages/ Its major disadvantage is that you'll need to reload the scenery after the initial loading in order to see the texture changes. November 18, 20196 yr I use snow textures for seasonal snow. If enabled I disable Ortho4XP because it does make no sense then. Paul Schmidt We're fools to make war on our brothers in arms.

December 3, 20196 yr Global warning does not exist. People are getting rich off the Global Warming scare. And if all the ice does melt, I know how to swim.
