I picked up the deluxe version today in Philadelphia. I had to fight with the clerk as she refused to bring it out. Then I showed her to this thread to convince her that other stores were selling it. I hope it all goes well on my external drive, as I don't want to part with FS9 just yet.

Best Buy in Allentown, Pa. said today that they had about 7 copies on the shelves on Friday, and were warned by Microsoft (FINES Threatened) to pull it until the 17th. Clerk told me he's not allowed to bring it back out again...seems they had a meeting about it. Now they have about 70 copies in the back room.The clerk was especially apologetic. They now do more disservice to the rest of us by selectively playing by the rules. Best Buy put the nail in their own coffin and now they have to deal with it. Since they have already done it then withholding copies wont do them a bit of good.

I had seen this post late last night and checked first thing in the morning at my local Best Buy store on 10/04/06. I was shocked to see it there. I wasn't going to buy it before this post. I was going to wait but had seen posts on the forum that said they were getting good frame rates. Well I didn't on a AMD 3000+, 1 gb of ram and a Nvidia 7800 gs card. FSX looks great but I can't run it anywhere near I feel I should. With settings set at the lowest it's flyable but then you have FS9. I'm not going to upgrade until after the holidays so no need now for FSX. Jeff

I got it ! Tonight, Wednesday Oct. 4th, at 7:30PM local time.Went to the Best Buy, here in Las Cruces on Lohman Avenure, and they had 6 Deluxe's and 8 Standard's. The manager mentioned that they had just put them out shortly before we arrived.Bob (Las Cruces, NM)

I just picked it up at the Best Buy in Victorville, California. They had numerous copies of both versions, I got the deluxe. Still installing it but will let you know if any issues pop up with performance or registration.

For any of you guys that got theirs at Best Buy can you please post the exact title and stock number. I went into Best Buy on Los Feliz, in Los Angeles, and they knew nothing about it. It was not listed on their computer as "Flight Simulator 10" or "FSX". They has FS2004 and that's all. Regards, BobF.
