December 21, 20196 yr Hi all, A problem which I always had in P3D and is still there in the latest version is a visibility banding that I get when looking and panning around. I attach some screens from today's flight. I use Chaseplane and ASP4+SF3D for weather. I tried increasing surface visibility limit to 1Km, but still see this banding. It is very annoying..does anyone know how to fix this? December 22, 20196 yr I've seen this before. LM needs to fix this and the way the clouds blend into the mountains. Still getting the same unrealistic effect. MSFS

December 23, 20196 yr As far as I know this is related to the low cloud offset. AS has an offset setting for this. The default value is 0. I have mine set at 500 feet. Definition: When enabled (set to value other than 0), this offset will be applied to cloud bases below 4000ft agl when using P3d. It's certainly a bug I have seen when flying in the mountains so it's not just a low visibility issue. If clouds are hitting the mountains, I see the same banding effect discussed on this thread.
