FS2Crew for the PMDG 737 NGX-U has been updated!

To obtain this free update, login to your FS2Crew account, click "Completed Orders", re-download and re-install.

There is no stand-alone update installer.

Updates are built into the main installer only.

Release Date: 1 May 2021

1. Fixed a bug in Button Control that would result in the After Start flow happening prematurely on the 2nd leg if you did a single-engine taxi in on the 1st leg.

2. Add a new config option based on user request.  The new option is on the Main Cfg Option panel on the Secondary Panel.

CTR FUEL PUMPS OFF CRZ/DES

If selected to Yes, the FO will automatically turn off the fuel pumps in Cruise and Descent once the center fuel tanks reach a certain level.

1. Removed three minute engine shutdown time requirement to run the "Shutdown Checklist" in Button Control mode.

Release Date: 4 December 2020

1. Fixed important issues associated with the Engine Severe Damage or Fire procedure.  If severe damage only, the FO will no longer get stuck after calling for start levers to cutoff and he will now pull the fire handles.

Release Date: 12 October 2020

1. Bolstered code for users running the PMDG "Cargo" expansion pack.  Ensure you have your OPS Config option selected accordingly when using the Cargo models.  OPS  must be set to: MILITARY/FREIGHT.

2. As per user request, we added a new config option: SET LOWER DISPLAY TO ENGINE.

When selected to No, the FO will NOT attempt to set the lower display to engine during engine start.  Setting the lower display to engine was something we could never do with 100 percent accuracy due to SDK limits, so at least with this new option you can now disable it.

 

Version 1.5 

Release Date: 3 September 2020

1. Software updated to better support the new PMDG "Cargo" models available for the NGX-U.  If using the Cargo models, ensure the OPS:CARGO/MILITARY option is selected.

  

Version 1.4 

Release Date: 18 July 2020

1. P3D V5 Support (Free!)
2. Dome Light fixed.
3. Ground voice Australia fixed.
4. Auto connect GPU at gate: FO will not turn on ground power after the power has been connected.
5. Save ASDEX position arrival and departure.
6. Five second delay added between starter cutout call and time FO will attempt to blank the lower screen 
when using SOP 2.
7. New Config Option on MISC (3).  Cabin Release Altitude: 10K, 18K, Cruise or Off.
8. GSX Level 2: visible Pilot models disabled.  The pilots will already be on the plane.  They don't walk with the pax.
9. Selecting lower engine display SOP 2.... still hit and miss because the FO is blind.  But we modified it a bit.

 

Version 1.3

Release Date: 1 February 2020

Fixed:

• Your speech recognizer setting can now be set to ENGLISH US, UK, AU, CA or India.  This is big news especially for British and Australian users as you should now get even better speech recognition results!
• Logo light.

Fixed:

• Bug Up / Set Flaps speed commands fixed.
• Autobrake position now read properly in the checklists (requires latest version of PMDG aircraft installed).
• Military / Freight option fixed regarding FA callouts.
• Landing elevation pressurization policy if landing elevation above 6000 feet.

New Functions:

• On the Pre-Flights page in the Secondary Panel, you can now Increase the initial pre-flight start time by right clicking the LSK beside the time value prior to activating the Pre-Flight events.

New Config Options:

• Pulse light option (lights policy based on an Australian airline).
• Turn off lights when flaps up option (non-SOP 2 only).

I presume the older version needs to be uninstalled.  It would help if that was mentioned on the OP or in the email.

For some reason, landing alt pressurization is set to 6000 ft for both my last flights since updating to 1.2? Flew from KMIA - KMCO - KMIA where both airports aren't that high!

Sorry, I had saved a new Panel state where 6000 was initially set!!

Re-download and re-install the product again.  There was a bug.

Are you sure FS2Crew is opening the rear door and not some other program?

I'd have to look at the code, but I don't recall that we open the rear door.

 

I believe the option is already there.

Think it may be something to do with GSX actually. I'll message their forums. Sorry Bryan.
