February 26, 20206 yr What are the steps to update from Orbx Central 3.0 to Orbx Central 4.x? Bill Clark Windows 10 Pro, Ver 21H2 CPU I5-8600K 5.0GHz, GPU Nvidia RTX 3090 VRAM 24GB Gigabyte Z370 Gaming 7, 2TB M2.NVMe, RAM 32GB
February 26, 20206 yr You first need to download ORBX Central from the ORBX website. I think (verify this at their forums first) you should need to uninstall FTX Central 3.0 (its name is not ORBX Central, but FTX Central). ORBX Central started with v4.0.0. ORBX Central current version is v4.0.39 (official) and v4.1.1 (fastlane-beta). I would suggest opting-in for the fastlane (beta), so you'll have frequent updates and improvements. February 26, 20206 yr You don't need to uninstall FTX Central first but it's recommended. I'd leave it installed until you are sure ORBX Central is installed properly and working. I think its necessary: https://orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/182553-double-instances-of-objectflow-2/ Personally I have problem with ObjectFlow in ORBX Central 4. Dont know why because everything looks ok: Example: I dont see all ObjectFlow addons like Flow People or most static airplane, more grass ect. using stable 4.0.39 version. I'll check this Fastlane option. February 27, 20206 yr On my system, ORBX Central says ObjectFlow 2 is installed Ok, and that's located in the main P3D folder, but I'm not able no physically see it. Someone knows how to look at it?. But when you do finally delete version 3, you won't have the opportunity to download it again should you want to. Stan
February 27, 20206 yr Has anyone else noticed this?...no matter how many times I do the update for SODE, the next time I open ORBX Central, the update keeps showing up! No problems updating any other products, just SODE. Using V4.11, but it's been happening in all previous versions. P3D V4.5 HF2 Thanks, Mike Did you installed SODE using ORBX Central or directly with the SODE installer?. I did installed SODE using its own installer and SODE is working normally (new version 1.6.6, as I remember) and actually I'm not paying attention at what ORBX Central says.
