In nothing too big, something light and mid speed... want to enjoy the details before doing the heavy flights!

I can't decide.  C172 and either around Dallas (KADS to Redbird) or KIPT to KHMZ.

|   Dave   |    I've been around for most of my life.

There's always a sunset happening somewhere in the world that somebody is enjoying.

I'll be flying the Icon A5 from my home airport in Bonham (F00) and flying over my house.

Then down highway 75 and around downtown Dallas, then back via a slightly different route.  I've driven this enough to know what it looks like from the ground, and it's my default flight in any new aircraft I get.

Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;

C172 from Lancaster, PA to Johnstown, PA with a flyover at Gettysburg.

For several FS iterations, my first fllight was from South Tahoe to Reno. A lovely green then red flight with snow capped peaks, a lake, forest and a desert. You get it all.

Not this time. Still wondering.

I may fly from Cannes-Mandelieu (LFMD) to, weather depending, a small airfied not far in the hills La Môle LFTZ or to Barcelonnette LFMR in the Alps  with the XCub  to get a feel of the flight modeling, the mesh,  and  small and  medium airports. Looking closely I should see  my house somewhere along the way.

After that, back to business, picking up the Caravan or the TBM and off to fly from China to Europe on the steps of Marco Polo !

Something I am familiar with while also getting use to the new sim. So the 172 or 152 over my home town. Who doesn't check out their own neck of the woods when a new sim comes out!

ASUS Prime Z490-A / i7-10700K / RTX 4080 / G.SKILL Ripjaws 32GB / Lian-Li PC-O11 Dynamic case

Across my hometown from LFLY to LFKL (shortest runway in Europe if I am not mistaken)

Then LFLY to Courchevel I think (my first leg to my 336 leg around-the-world tour)

Something different for me: having some fun trying to "break" the sim.

Slewing a C172 in outer space. Looking at how earth and clouds are depicted from there.

Skimming the landing gear on the water, and then ditching.

Touching down on a steep slope in a Cub, and sliding down.

Putting the flight and ground model through its limits, inside a CB, in exaggerated crosswind, in a vertical descent.

Trying every possible combination of weather, time and location.
