We are currently testing our products in LM Prepar3D V5.
Results so far:

• Advanced series products: non-functional
• WX bundled products: non-functional
• All other products: testing ongoing

With products bundled with 3rd party addons (TacPack, WX, etc) a definitive answer, as to if and when a solution will be ready, is unfortunately out of our hands.
For the rest, we hope to have answers within the next 2 weeks. Until we have confirmed your aircraft is compatible, please assume it isn't.

Please note that we hope we won't have to charge for this update, but we might have to, depending on the work involved.

I'd be more than curious to hear whether the aircraft devs witness the same amount of performance increase that the scenery devs have reported. I shouldn't say this too loud but if I were to get 50-100% more fps with the NGXu say then any upgrade price can be considered paid as we speak...

Yes, Milviz has reported that their advanced series are non-functional so I guess they weren't on the beta team of P3Dv5 if they start the tests now.

Why is a niche developer with a very small range of expensive "study level" aircraft seen to be a barometer of things to come? Particularly when the latest model was apparently sold on the basis that adapting it to the next version of P3D would be free of charge to those who bought the P3D v4 version?

It's time to go all conspiracy! 🤣 Is it a co-incidence that the virtually unheard of "PMDG Sale" is over on the same day that Prepar3D V5 is being released? I'll hazard a guess. NGXu will continue to be supported in Prepar3D V5 no fee involved for current owners. Queen of the Sky III will be supported in V5 with an update fee. 777 discontinued. 777 V2 released on the 14th for Prepar3D V5 only for $134.99. Anyone who bought 777 V1 during the sale will get a credit for that amount toward the full price of the 777 V2. The rest of us 777 V1 owners will have to buy it again if we want to fly it in Prepar3D V5.😭🤣

That would be annoying, as the two planes I fly the most in P3Dv4 are the PMDG 737-600 NGX and the PMDG 777F!

Sorry to say Chris, I'll eat my hat if the NGX is ever supported in Prepar3D V5

The two major AC developers right now could be FSlabs and PMDG and it seems like each one is waiting for the other to throw the first ball. Marketing 1101.

I'm fully expecting PMDG's NGX to no longer be supported, so probably won't be made to work in v5.
Shame, but I'm not going to buy a highly expensive set of aircraft for a sim that I expect to use for about a year, maybe 18 months max. By which time the MSFS add-on landscape will be much better understood.

I really, really hope that the QW787 and Majestic Dash 8 are brought into v5 so that I have a range of long-haul to short-haul passenger aeroplane types to use alongside the Aerosoft A32x and A330.
If not, I'll be sticking with v4.5 until MSFS arrives - and I don't think that I'd be the only one to do that.

Removed the A2A part, now seen that they're confirmed for v5.

MV was and remains part of the LM beta team but, like A2A, we're waiting until we have a stable build... and right now, that's not yet available.  Soon, we will be able to properly assess what's what. 

Regarding the Q400, kroswynd has said on the Majestic forum:

To the question of whether it will be supported:

"We will make announcement when it is."

and

"The aircraft works out of the box but requires some tweaking, so I'll make an official announcement when all things are in place"

That's very good news. Haven't seen the second reply. From what we've seen so far it seems to me the transition for aircraft developers won't be a hard one.
