Pirate or hacker would never give the informations like name, surname, true adress, phone number ... I am also willing to show them my identity with my driver licence, pilot medical certificate ...

My response today:

Hello!
There is an issue with my account and still hasn't been solved. I wrote yesterday but didn't get your answer:

I have ordered multiple addons in case of reinstalling my software or windows so I won't have problems by activating the same product key.
I haven't seen any rules in Terms of service that say you are not allowed to order the same product multiple times. You should warn the user or prevent this from happening (so simmarket prevents you from buying the same product). The problem is that your online store allows that. You still haven't told me which rule I broke (a rule that states a maximum number of orders of the same product!).
Are my product keys for addons I bought in 2018 still working (I have them in my e-mails)? Will I get an upgrade for Active Sky when it is released for V5 (or a discount if HIFI decides that V4 owners of Active Sky get a discount)? Is it possible to make another account when I want to buy a product?
The problem with my account is still not resolved. If there was a rule for example: "User/customer is not allowed to make more than 3 orders/purchases of the same product in our online store..." I would totally understand you. But as far as I know there is no such rule (tell me if I am wrong). There was no abuse, I was just using your store and it allows that.

It looks more and more to me like you made up a rule that doesn't exist (I politelly asked a few times which rule is it?) and still didn't get and answer.

I also asked my professor that teaches entrepreneurship on Mechanical Engineering high school and has a PhD in Economy. I told him this story and he said that I did nothing wrong as an end-user or customer. He said that seller shouldn't prevent an access to future updates and keys for customer as long as no Terms of Service are violated. He gave an advice that I should firstly try to solve this problem with customer support. If customer support is not able to fix this I can search for help at consumer protection.

I also make screenshots of conversation and terms of service (Terms of service on 19. 4. 2020) for evidence.

I did receive my purchased products in 2018. But I do not have an access to updates. What if RFSceneryBuilding creates an update for LJLJ that is available for all owners. Firstly, I am an owner of the product (as an end-user) but I will not be able to get the updates.

Active Sky for V5 will be released soon. HIFI will most probably decide that V4 owners need to pay a small upgrade fee. How will this be possible for me because you blocked my account but I am an owner?

I think that hacker or pirate would never give its real name, surname, adress and phone number. I am willing to prove my identity with driver licence, pilot medical certificate ... I did nothing wrong and have no intentions to do so.

Here is an example of this situation:
You drive Fiat Multipla for example. Police stops you and says that your car is suspicious. You ask them why is it? They say you have broken some rules. And you ask "which rules".  And they say "you abused you drivers licence by driving a car I don't like". There is no rule that says you can't drive a car that police officer doesn't like. There are roads and you are allowed to use them as long as you respect the rules (terms of service) and have a drivers licence.

I really hope you will be able to solve this problem.

Regards!

Why are you continuing to share this, it is really only your business.

However, here is another suggestion: you might try apologising for your actions instead of protesting.

I've made close to 200 purchases through Simmarket over the course of the past 18 years. Never had a problem. In fact, the thing I like about Simmarket is that your downloads including serials are available for re-downloads and you don't have to store and save them on your pc.

It seems to me you engaged in suspicious behavior and Simmarket reacted accordingly.

If you ask me (and I'm probably in the minority here) it still seems a bit - well, poor customer service IMO, in SimMarkets place.

I am careful of purchasing anything from them, as I once had an account, which were just blocked without any notice or warning. I tried writing to them, and got the answer, that I abused my account, and that they had terminated and banned my account. I wasn't given ANY information or proof of this. I tried to apologize if I had violated any guidelines or of any wrongdoing (which I wasn't aware of) but just got the same mail back, that I had abused my account, and that it were their final decision! I then protested and asked for proof or some kind of 'fair trial', but didn't receive any reply from them again... 😞

To this day, I still don't know what I did. I just accepted the fact, that they were judge, jury and executioner...

It is solved now. I wrote a sincere apology for my actions and I am really sorry for what I've done.

Good to hear... Did you manage to recover your account, then?

Yes, the only problem I have is that Simmarket redirects me to cia.gov website but I think that this is a problem that has to do with router or my internet provider. I visit cia.gov quite often because they have interesting former secret files and now it always redirects me to CIA (this started about 3 weeks ago). secure.simmarket.com only works when I am using cellular data on my phone.

SimMarket has always been very fair with me.  I have made tons of purchases over the years and their support has been perfect.

I can understand, they handle so many products that they can't be lenient when it comes to suspicious activity.  I remember that recently they were accused of selling something that didn't really belong to the vendor. So they have to be careful coming or going. They walk a thin line that has little tolerance.
