Hello - I have a problem I can't seem to solve. I am using P3dv5 with Orbx Global Base and Orbx KSAN (I don't use Vector). The airport looks terrible. It appears to be a mixture of default buildings and Orbx buildings. I don't use any other SoCal addons so I am at a loss as to what is causing this. Has anyone else seen this issue?

Try inibuilds compatibility patch.

I just checked the Orbx support forums and this is a known issue that has yet to be fixed. I should have looked there first. I did see that as you said Inibuilds has a patch so I will give that a shot. Thanks!

They should be releasing an update within days. I just posted over there with the same issue.

Sorry not related to KSAN but to another ORBX airport YMML v3 ?

Anyone seeing default buildings here with ORBX FTX AU v2 ?

Fixing KSAN is pretty easy with ADE. Import stock data and then select from List to show Library objects, sort by Is Stock = True and delete them. Do the same with Taxi Signs, save and compile. 

 YMML in the control panel has an option for if you have FTX AUS v2 and will disable the appropriate files.

It`s not just ORBX I have seen it in FlightBeam airports, still waiting for them to patch them it should not be up to the user to correct this they are supposedly V5 compatible.

100% agreed, but for those that don't want to wait or that don't want to use the ade that comes from the dev. I've got too much custom work in my ADE's.

This has been a joke for weeks now to be honest. A whole bunch of ORBX stuff that they're selling as "V5-compatible" is suffering from serious bugs. They've at least fixed all those crashes to desktops people suffered because of their ObjectFlow, but it's been like a month now that they've claimed stuff is compatible with P5D when it really isn't.

Still no fix for LOWI either for example. And it's rather sad that inibuilds manages to push out fixes for LIEO and KSAN but ORBX themselves still haven't.

not just ORBX as said.  Flightbeam airports still have not issued a patch for DL to work with PBR aircraft.  For once they are the very last.  Actually Imaginesim also hasn't.

A lot of addon airports that have not been updated, are showing default buildings extruding from them, thus requiring an exclude file or manual adjustment in ADE. I think when LM updated airports, they adjusted elevations and other parameters resulting it the mess we see.

I'm willing to cut the developers some slack right now. I can't blame them for not wanting to spend a lot of resources to fix addons for P3Dv5 until it has stabilized a little more. I suspect all they are trying to do at this point is to get their addons to work without crashing.

My tune may change once we get to P3Dv5.1..2..3 and some things aren't corrected.

Same, but then don’t sell stuff as v5-compatible until it actually is.
