I beg to disagree Ed. The purpose of the comparison is to point out just how far we've come in terms of realistic world representation. In that respect it's succeeded brilliantly!

You utterly missed the point.

Yeah it's not worthless, it's showing am unmodded sim vs a newer unmodded sim. Showing how the base has evolved in the last 14 years.

Once the sim is actually released, probably be even better comparisons videos to show since authors won't be limited to officially released images and footage.

Well, compared to something that happened 14 years ago is not fair anyway.

It's completely fair. It's a new entry in the franchise.

It might be worth noting that the default representations in today's simulators are not that much better compared to what we had 14 years ago.

And we have a winner! If the same exact comparison were to have been between P3D v5.x and MSFS, the results wouldn't have been all that much different...

...and P3D v5.x was released just a week ago.

Add a sprinkling of Orbx...

That wouldn't be a fair comparison then. The MSFS media doesn't have addons (yet).

Default Vs. Default is the only fair comparison for right now.
