After that is all done it would be great to have some kind of tool that will help adding repaints etc to the files that will assign installed aircrafts to the online aircrafts - so basically until it is released nothing we can do other then spaculate what will happen 😉

I’m guessing taxing, take off and landing are all handled by the AI. Edited July 4, 20205 yr by Tuskin38
July 4, 20205 yr Theres a good chance I completely misunderstand all this but it seems to me that FlightAware isnt providing 'actual live data' but rather a prediction model based on real data. You have to be online to use 'live flight data' so FA would create their Single Source of Truth predictions which would drive all AI aircraft. You can't crash into them so the ATC just puts you in line and you follow instructions. They don't just disappear or jump because its just a prediction of where an aircraft should be. | Dave | I've been around for most of my life. I can't imagine why scheduled airlines would do this, but charters and corporate GA aircraft are certainly taking advantage of the feature. Miltary and police aircraft have always had the option available for obvious reasons.
July 4, 20205 yr I wonder what Homeland Security & the military think of live flight data.... Robin "Onward & Upward" ... To the Stars, & Beyond...

Or at the very least they don’t display that data to the public. There are other sites however that do track/display that data. Edited July 4, 20205 yr by Tuskin38
July 5, 20205 yr Thankfully flightradar24 does track (some) military aircraft, as in the last few days we've had both a Globemaster and an A400M doing touch-and-gos at EGBB and I've tracked those on FR24 and by eyeball from my garden. Edited July 5, 20205 yr by Ian Box Ian Box
