The long-awaited update!

Is the sun ready to shine ?!!
Is it enough to install patch 1.1.5.5.?

I have a simple question. How to adjust the sunlight?

The sharp edges of the sun are visible only before sunset. The rest of the time we see a bright light, not a circle.

Here is a comparison of P3Dv5 and P3Dv4,5

I posted the same question on the Prepar3D forum. Hope to find an answer

Did a short flight,  take off and landing NZWN (scenery and airport  ORBX NZ  and NZWN )

My Settings:
Extreme Dense for scenery complexity, autogen and buildings, Text RES 4K.

GPU memory now 3.3-4.5 FPS ~ 60.  scenery looks better, GPU memory before the update 5.3 to 6.3.
My first impression very good, great improvement!

For those still on v4.5, this update also applies to that version. New EnvDir version as well. That is all.

I'll have to play around some more.  For now I turned off and restored back my shaders.  The MD-80 and 737 had areas of the cockpit that were completely dark at night even though in theory those parts have lights.  Lights didn't seem to do anything.

That's an EA (beta) mode issue.  LM can fix and I expect that in 5.1

I doubt it's anything that EnvShade can fix, but you never know.

Yeah, I really don't like what it does to the dome light in the NGXu: https://imgur.com/a/m5SRcZN
