August 4, 20205 yr Hello everyone for msfs, I wonder the reason for a prepaid since it is direct download, there is no merchandise to manufacture apart from the boxed versions?

August 4, 20205 yr Anyone who preorders in entered into a contest, the winner of which will receive a Boeing 747, very similar to the one in the program. It will be delivered to your residence, you will be responsible for fueling it and getting a crew.

Apparently it has a seat installed on the top of the tailfin so that people who like to fly on external view will be able to operate it. On a more serious note, if MS allow some downloading of files before the actual 'you can use it now' day arrives, there will be a benefit to pre-ordering since a 90 GB download can take a while, but whether than happens is another question entirely. August 4, 20205 yr The only benefit to preordering is to pre-download and be ready to play at the moment it's released. Could be a day one patch to also download. This is the console world standard nowadays. Semper Fi
August 4, 20205 yr Your payment, I understand, is not activated until release day. It is simply an expeditious method to get it done! Stan
August 4, 20205 yr Another tangible "benefit".....(I use that term loosely) is that with steam, they charge you immidiately upon purchase she MS waits until 10 days prior....or something like that. For those who aren't as good with their money, being charged immidiately may prevent a bank overdraft. I don't think this would be of any real value for most people lol. August 4, 20205 yr Possibly, but on the plus side, the 'they aren't taking the money off me yet' notion, psychologically can make people click the buy button more easily. Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
August 4, 20205 yr I pre-ordered it because I am buying it anyway and I have the money for it, I really don't have any reason to wait. Hopefully I can download the files early so it's ready to run on the 18th.

I at least expected it would buy me a pre-load, so I wouldn't have to wait all day for it to pre-allocate, download, unpack and install on the 18th.
August 4, 20205 yr The receipt sent via e-mail indicates that preorders will be charged up 10 days before release. Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700KF CPU @ 4.90GHz 32.0 GB RAM Windows 11 Home NVIDIA RTX 3080Ti 12GB Multi monitors WD SN850 M2 2TB PSU 1000W. 360 AIO.cooling.
