Not only no other flight simulation, but no other third party.  You'd think the market for a rational air traffic control simulation add-on would be big enough to justify making one.

Lazy?  Not smart enough?  Apathetic?

Or maybe it's just impossible. It's not like no one has ever tried.

There are several aftermarket ATC products for 20-year old simulators. That's a fantastic excuse for doing a poor job with this one.

I wonder why no one has done it then.

Because the market clearly accepts a half-assed effort. Defends it even.

Does your phone still look like this:

Mine does. 🙂  I have no use for a smart phone, and I'm still on a land line at home.  It's actually a Panasonic, with talking caller-ID.

Or how about this: do you still use Windows 2000? What would you say if I told there was no reason not to - it's perfectly fine just like it is!

Defending something from 2020 because it's about as good as something from 2000 is absolutely absurd.

What were you saying about straw man arguments? 😄

*I* don't use a third party ATC program because I don't use ATC.  Why do *YOU* not use a third party ATC program?

Oh, that's fine, don't worry! As long as I can still follow the discussion here. I mean we're only at eight pages now, you guys can easily get this up to 80 in a few days. 😊

So, where do we stand now? Have the high priests of aviation determined if airplanes are allowed to fly at 8800 ft or whatever it was? 😅

This is correct. The people who actually know the rules in the real world have confirmed this is allowed.

So, do you recommend I add him to my twit filter or not?  Is the discussion entertaining enough for it to continue?

If no one had ever made a better OS than windows 2000, I would still be using Windows 2000.  Thus it is with Ai based FS ATC.  I mean, I use Pro ATC x, but that is just trading one set of inaccuracies for another, and it doesn’t do VFR so...

actually to be honest, I’ve never used Windows 2000.  Went from 98 to XP.  Not sure how that fits with the analogy, but it is what it is

I'm not sure. Has he seen a video of the pushback guy with the prop engine running already?
