August 22, 20205 yr Hi all, I tried everything to match the in sim throttle response to my Thrusthmaster Warthog Throttle, but its don`t move on the exactly speed that I move my hardware, it seems to move on a constant speed, much slower. Does anyone is having the same "problem"? Thanks! Matt
August 22, 20205 yr Yes this is really annoying, it makes it hard to maintain a stable approach for one. I get the same slow movement with my logitech throttle quadrant.
August 22, 20205 yr Indeed. Good to know there are simmers actually operating the aircraft in the new MSFS, not just taking pictures and youtubing. The throttle and the propeller levers do not move - at least in the Caravan EX - in real time ANYMORE, but the mixture lever does! There is more on the Caravan. More later.
August 22, 20205 yr Author So looks like its something that's is intented to be like this. IMHO fs2020 looks like a game with some simulation features, not the other way around. I really hope they correct this really soon, as for me its a game breaker. 13 hours ago, Japo32 said: same.. and also the propeller. I'm a huge fan of your SF260 Javier! Is the airplane that I have flown most hours on XP11 and will take years to something on FS2020 get, at least, the same level of immersion and realism that you reached on the Marchetti. Bravo! Matt

You can assign a keyboard press for instant throttle response. If it is still slow then you know it is not your controller but the parameters in the engine modelling. August 22, 20205 yr With Saitek Throttle quadrant and C172 - mixture response - instantaneous, throttle response - lagging (the on screen throttle is about 1 second late behind the physical Saitek lever). Seems like developer knew more how the throttle should be operated.
August 22, 20205 yr Just now, Steku said: With Saitek Throttle quadrant and C172 - mixture response - instantaneous, throttle response - lagging (the on screen throttle is about 1 second late behind the physical Saitek lever). Seems like developer knew more how the throttle should be operated. Flying the Balkins Mission C172 10th leg, the mixture control does jump instead of slowly changing. Don't know, I may have something assigned to mixture also?
August 27, 20205 yr I am having this issue. Tried in a turbine ac as well as a Cessna 172. I push my throttle forward and hear/see/feel no change. About 4 to 5 seconds later I can hear the throttle and feel the plane begin to accelerate, or slow. I have an HP i7-9700, 16gb ram, 256GB SSD m.2 NVMe and 1 TB HDD with a 6gb GTX 1660Ti. I am using my CH Fighterstick with throttle and rudders. Controller calibrates in Windows correctly. In the game I went into calibration and my throttle would go from full throttle (at full back position) to 0 throttle (at the mid throttle position) than as I continue pushing the throttle forward it would come back up to full throttle. While flying I tried to start at the center of the throttle and move the throttle forwards, but the same delay was present. So I have 2 issues I'm hoping to resolve. All other flight controls are very sensitive and respond instantly. TIA! Been flying MSFS since . . .
August 30, 20205 yr I havent been able to take off in the cessna yet because of control surface sensitivity.. but it seems to act like a press of a button not a smooth axis.. If I quickly pull back and not hold it (as if pressing the button once), it moves out slowly and stops.. if I pull back and hold it the sensitivity sends it through the roof and immediately into a stall.. but in each case I have to move the joystick fully to get any movement at all. Its the same with the throttle ..it doesnt move until fully pushed to top. However the rudder reacts immediately .. but when I go into sensitivity it is reacting as it should i.e slowly moving as I pull back or push forward on the joystick Edited August 30, 20205 yr by targetpractice2
August 30, 20205 yr This is weird because I'm getting different results with my Warthog controls. In the TBM when I move my Warthog throttle, the one in the cockpit moves at exactly the same rate. However, the cockpit throttle lever shows a very slight pause right in the center of the range, and then it continues. That mid-throttle pause has to be a bug because the controller shows a smooth input in the axis display in control settings. In the Caravan there is a tiny bit of lag in the cockpit throttle behind the controller, with that same pause in the center of the range. So apparently the lag can vary with different plane models? The mixture (condition) lever has no lag or center pause. Note: I'm not using the default mapping for the Warthog throttle. I wanted so many things different that I just made a new profile and wiped the default settings, so the throttle axis was set from scratch. I don't know if that makes any difference. August 30, 20205 yr lmao I figured out what I was doing wrong... I was assigning my joystick as a button rather than an axis in the settings.... the sensitivity was exactly what I was saying ..so user error...its stupid but easy to do ... you may not be as dumb as me but for those that might be having the same issue... make sure in setup under your game controller that you assign throttle, elevator, rudder and aileron in AXIS .. not for exampe (aileron left (roll left)....
