That's a nice area, stayed in a hotel near that airport. Trying to hold off on too many airport purchases just yet, waiting to see if we're going to get some improved resolution for the ground textures, but this looks like a good one.

I did also buy this cause I had it for P3D....  the scenery is a port I think...doesn't look native but it still looks nice and for the price I'm happy with it

I'm seriously debating picking this up after seeing the product page.  I need to go check out the default version first just to get a feel for it and know what I'm getting.  It would be my first pay airport from anybody.  I had a number of regions, the Global stuff, and the freeware airports they put out for FSX, but have never ever bought an airport.  Guess I figured why bother they're a small part of the trip and I always preferred the big scenery upgrades for the $$$.  MSFS looks so good out of the box though that it seems like airport upgrades are going to be the bigger enhancement this time around.

It's the lighting that makes the scenery look amazing.

It couldn't be all of the excellent 3D modeling and texture work, right?

😉

What I was referring to is that some of the scenery for MFS seem to be ported over. Even if it was a port from Prepar3d, it will look miles better due to the amazing lighting engine in MFS.

I bought it.  Default is like standard block airport but this is nicer.  Love the graphics in this new sim.  It is so OMG

Yeah I'm pretty sure I'm buying this tonight as well.  I just flew into the default one.  The surrounding scenery was beautiful save for a couple blocky hills on the coast and some ground spikes in the golf course east of the airport, but that terminal vs the screenshots for the Orbx one lol.  I also noticed the sim doesn't always apply 3D buildings on top of the scenery.  I flew out of YNEZ to get there and all the hangars were flat white squares, and some houses on the final approach were as well.
