October 1, 20205 yr After installing the patch (1.9.3.0) I did about 4 or 5 flights (all with successful takeoffs and landings) but found that only one of the flights was logged in the logbook. Has any one else seen this or found a solution? Johan Pienaar
October 1, 20205 yr Are you in developer mode? I ran in DM for a time in order to see FPS on screen. I found out that running in DM doesn't log flight time. Just a thought.
October 1, 20205 yr I have two flights, neither logged properly. There is an entry in my logbook that shows three minutes that is invalid. Hook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;

Hook Per the response a bit above. DM stands for Developer Mode. Flights flown in that mode have not been logged. October 1, 20205 yr Same here noticed my flights aren’t in logbook after full cold and dark then park at the ramp shutdown. I am not using developer mode either. Thomas Derbyshire
October 1, 20205 yr Logging for me has been completely inconsistent since the 1.9.3 patch (no developer mode), where it was pretty reliable prior to that. Some flights logged, others not, with no rhyme or reason as to why. I've had successful flights with taxi to parking and shutdown logged with the correct departure airport but the destination listed as the vicinity of a different airport with no landing logged. None of this occurred for me prior to 1.9.3, so it would appear they changed something, and not for the better. PC: I9-10900K, RXT 3090, 64GB RAM, 3840x1080 49" super-ultrawide

October 2, 20205 yr Author I found that after I changed and saved some graphics settings it started saving my flights to the log again. Johan Pienaar
October 21, 20205 yr Author I did some testing using various combinations of actions and I think I finally found the culprit that caused my flights not to be logged. There is another pause / un-pause function in the sim (not active pause) that I mapped some buttons to in the beginning days of the sim. This pause prevented the autopilot trim from running away when you pause so I kept on using it. I seems like in the first patch something changed and this hard pause during a flight now results in the flight not being logged. Since the problem with the autopilot and soft pause has been fixed I guess I do not need the hard pause any more. Johan Pienaar
October 21, 20205 yr I am not in Developer Mode and my flights are not being logged properly. Before 1.9.3 the logging worked ok. Jim Morgan
October 21, 20205 yr ive noticed that when I fly the TBM most of my flights are not logged correctly if at all but when I fly the caravan I have no issues,,, it might be plane specific but not entirly sure,

Did not solve the problem. Did another flight without using pause at all and it was not logged. Back to the drawing board. Johan Pienaar
October 22, 20205 yr I've had lots of seemingly random logging in the past. As much as I dislike listening to the moronic ATC (especially on back country flights), since I've enabled the AI handling of ATC, all my flights have been logged properly (provided I park and shut-down after landing).
