November 10, 20205 yr I know some users had mentioned they disliked the ocean "currents" look. Maybe the "discrepancies" in the water looked like oil slicks. I think the slight variations look spot on...and honestly near sunset, extremely realistic. I had started to make some screenshots to compare to real ocean sunsets aloft but ended up taking a bunch of screenshots, including Asobo's "great" loading of RNAV (GPS) approaches haha. Anyway here's some nice views landing at Santa Maria KSMX in California. Using the Rob Young Bonanza v2 and the WorkingTitle G1000. This is, by far, the best looking ocean water I've seen in any flightsim. (And the lighting, considering default, is also the best) g36ocean1 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr g36ocean2 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr g36ocean3 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr g36ocean4 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr g36ocean5 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr g36ocean6 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr g36ocean7 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr g36ocean8 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr g36ocean9 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr g36ocean10 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr g36ocean11 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Untitled-12 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr g36ocean13 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

November 10, 20205 yr Totally agree with you, Ryan. Love the patterns. Looks like wind eddies on the surface. Very realistic. [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)

November 11, 20205 yr Stunning set Ryan! SoCal, sunset, Rob's Bonanza....hard not to take jaw dropping screens! If you're looking for another great route SoCal route with mountains splashed in....KBUR to L35 (Big Bear, with the addon). Have already flown it twice. Once by myself and last night with @cavaricooper.....both to L35 and the return trip....breathtaking at sunset. I hope you get your CTD issues under control...nothing more frustrating.
