I really love perving over the gorgeous aircraft models in the hangar, I think its a really cool feature.  Reminds of the great models found in Gran Turismo however I really wish you could remove the HUD from top and bottom.....kinda ruins my screenshots!

I think you can do both of those.  I swear I've used it drone mode.

Haven't been able to use drone in hangar. Can select the plane icon or yoke icon and then use regular camera controls, just not drone.

The hangar should be available to scenery designers, so they can make it a start-up location at airports they create.

Enable dev mode and you can use the drone cam in hangar.

What would be really cool is if you could add "favorite" planes into your hanger and then choose between them.  The plane selection UI can be a bit cumbersome.  So being able to "add to your hanger" would allow you a nice place to pick from your favorite planes, admire it and then go into flight planner with it selected.

Yea seems like there is quite a bit to improve the hanger, give us the option to remove the hud would be a good start.

If you open an external map app in the Hangar, it looks like it's at exactly 0 North and 0 West heh

Imagine if you could spawn in a hanger building representative of your departure airport, then taxi out.  Now that's be damned cool.  Current hanger seems bit "Tardis" sized though for GA aircraft 🙂

I wish they would make up their minds about opening or closing that fudging hangar door tho 😄
