In my case the CTD back to desktop was related to the FS Academy IFR missions.    Happened every time for me.   Fixed it with an updated version from SimMarket.

Thanks for the comparison video. We really need more of this.

I am expecting mostly for the mesh improvement, but haven't seen much visual change after the update, even if the mesh has been improved to very high resolution in many areas up to 0.5m. By comparison, other flight sims can achieve much better "verticality" effect for moutains even if it's only 32m mesh resolution. In the interview Neuman has talked about this and said they are investigating the technique to make the moutains look more rough and vertical.

What would they make of Kirkcudbright, Kirkcaldy, Edinburgh, Magheralismisk or Lough Neagh?😁

I was born there myself. Actually in proper Spanish pronunciation, the “c” is pronounced like a “k”.

Whales

Fair enough.

But then the Welsh themselves seem to all have names like "William the Postman" and "John the Butcher" .
