December 23, 20205 yr I've checked quite a few places for snow cover and I don't see any. I have used the recommended meteoblue site https://www.meteoblue.com/en/weather/webmap/beta/range-regional-airport_united-states-of-america_5021092#coords=6.81/61.038/-148.59&map=snowDepth~hourly~auto~sfc~none as a reference for snow cover. For example: anchorage alaska shows 1.5 feet of snow. I load up at an airport and no snow using live weather. I have tried loading a themed weather and then back to live as people have suggested. I have even tried several different server locations but no difference. Edit: I just spawned at a random place in greenland.......and its green...... Why? where can I see snow right now? December 23, 20205 yr I landed at Juneau Alaska yesterday, there was some snow on the runway and around the airport. can't cover all the runway markings. One mile visibility and heavy rain, looked ok. December 23, 20205 yr Just flew into KMSP and was impressed. When it's not snowing it looks like anything under 1 inch on the ground will not show in the sim. By all means there's more work to do but we're moving in the right direction. December 23, 20205 yr my friend lives outside of Sioux City. There's a blizzard there right now. Couldn't get the weather to be anything other than a sunny green day using live weather. Tried to recreate a blizzard by customizing the weather. Game crashed. Finally just set it as snow, flew out, window froze over with all the heat on. game crashed.

December 24, 20205 yr Author its just a shame they introduce a new feature again that doesnt work as intended. I'm glad it works for asobo's version they use at their offices. Maybe they can let us use it too. MSFS Alpha tester on W10 Pro x64. Hardware: AMD 5900X 12 core CPU. December 24, 20205 yr Make bug reports on zen desk showing comparison pictures between meteoblue and the actual sim
December 24, 20205 yr I think that unfortunately people’s experiences will vary with live snow coverage as they have with live weather working properly until Asobo really gets the backend of live weather working consistently.
