Where can one find this app Gerard? I purchased from Simmarket and it's still the 1 folder manual type installation!

Thanks Rick

I will upload a new update 4.2 tomorrow with updated app and seasons and added wildflower fields.

@Mike S KPDX

As far as LOD. Things changed after the last sim update, as you all know.  I did some test and it turns out Asobo changed tree LOD based on Latitude.

The closer you get to poles , the LOD decreases and get worse. The LOD is works best at equator and near it.

See my test below:

Also for next update 4.2 this weekend:

New addition is wildflower fields.  These are not actual model of flower but modified trees. The height of these are between 6 inches to a foot but they are visible at high altitude, as high as 10,000 feet and makes spring season more colorful.

More variety of mixture of colors will be added in the updates after this.

For now these will be available in parts of Africa. See map below. Due to limitation of the ecoregions, not all regions are capable of having this feature. Only one set of colors can be displayed in each region but it can be a mixture of colors.
Color on map shows which colors will be in that region. Flying in areas where two regions meet can result of seeing two different colors in same area.

I'm still confused about which folder to add to my community.  It's Autumn in South Africa, where I am flying, but Spring in the northern hemisphere.   So that means I drag Autumn into my community folder right?  It's where I am flying?

Wow!  That is a great finding.  How strange is that!
I cannot see a reason why they would want to do that, so maybe it is a bug that has crept in after all.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

I hope it's a bug and not intentional.

Hi @BijanStudio,

I was just checking out Denver city area, with photogrammetry off and your spring season set, and it looks like this -

x1ZKiPl.jpg

Is there any way I can tone down the amount of blossom here, or do I just have to switch season? I can't believe there's that much colour there in real life (and if there is - I'll just switch seasons - it's like someone spiked my coffee this morning <grin>)

That apart, very happy with the package. Running at lod 500 at 4k and with your trees in place the UK and similar places look wonderful.

Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used

I like that there is variety added with flowers and blossoming trees but it should be far far more subtle. Some of the screenshots look similar to the procedurally rendereded planets in the game 'No Man's Sky'.

Would it be possible to add certain types of crops in farm land like corn fields in summer? That could be cool.

Yes that's too much, I think there might be a typo in a number for that area. I will fix this and asap.

Not possible to add crops in farm due to limitation of the sim.  Only the wild flowers I added.
