True my fps is ok just a pausing every approx 3 seconds, may be the combination of 8700k and 1080ti running at ultra on 4k,if I remove this pack it's dead smooth and I have about 3 gig video card memory but gets wiped out if I reinstall it, uses all my video ram and causes stutters, I also have 64 GB system memory

Interesting, i have no issues with the Brisbane addon and am running an i5-8400 with just 32GB of ram so your system is better than mine in those areas and my 3070 only has 8Gb of VRAM compared to your 11GB.

I do not think it is hardware, your hardware seems fine, something else is going on.

I'm running this pack quite well too with my system - i9 9900KF and RTX 2070 Super. I haven't noticed any frame drops or anything like that, it just looks stunning. My settings are quite optimised and are a blend of high and ultra. I wonder if the stutters are more prevalent with a certain option set to ultra that's set to high on other systems? Because let's face it, we're talking about fairly "simple" objects - sure way more detailed than stock, but nothing out of the ordinary that should cause major fps issues, it just doesn't make sense.

Finally got this working with out stutters, still using really all video ram. I ran endit all to kill all other unnecessary services and closed anti virus

Good news.  Persistence paid off.

Installed this the other day and initially encountered terrible stutters, then remembered I had 5 NZA Simulations Brisbane packages in the community folder.  Removed and very happy with performance now.  Mild stutters on my older system, but Brisbane now looks like Brisbane.

Just tried this out and the scenery is beautiful! I love all of the landmark packs from Orbx so far! They really bring the city to life! Can't wait to get Orbx YBBN as soon as they release it to complete this city. Performance is great for me.

Any news on the planned release of this threatened update. I cannot wait for it. Hope they release for P3D as well.

I'm already at max graphics ram usage on my 1080 ti so I assume this will tip me over the edge and cause performance issues

Jetman67,

I have heard that this is a complete restart and has little in common with the original YBBN.  I also hope it is released for the ESP platforms as well as for MSFS.

I am very much hoping too, that this rework will at least address the performance issues that the original YBBN entailed,  I flew from YBTL to YBBN in the iFly 737 yesterday and I had 60-70FPS all the way until about 30nm north of Brisbane and FPS dropped to about 12-15 (not unflyable but certainly not an outstanding example of P3D at its best)  Strangely, it is ONLY YBBN that has this issue for me and it was the same with FSX ie 32bit, I have no idea what ORBX was thinking when they unleashed this airport to the unsuspecting public, nor what they were thinking of in lieu of fixing it. No doubt they got their money out of it so they at least had no complaints.

If the red-release from ground up displays the same or close performance, I, for one, will not buy it despite it being very very high on my list of priorities.

The great pity is that ORBX is only one of three devs who look at Australia but the other two have only released YSSY- FlyTampa and MSFG(?) YPPH between them.

Whilst MSFS is getting much more love for Australia, if you have a look at flightsim.to, requests for scenery, you will note lots of requests for airports but nobody yet has put their hand up to do just one of them.

It will, I fear, be a long time before a world update for Oceania appears on the horizon and I cannot really see me being alive to enjoy it,

Regards

Tony

Orbx were originally an Australian based company and still have a strong presence here.
