March 15, 20215 yr Just finished a flight with B748 and I was thinking to try again the 777, of course...it slaps me in the face immediately Thrust LIM page, stuck with 100% take off power, cannot change anything except CLB 1 and 2. Was ok before the latest updates, so frustrated, I think I'm done with it Edited March 15, 20215 yr by Hoang Hoang Le i7 13700k - Sapphire Nitro+ AMD RX 7900 XT - Asus TUF Z790 PLUS D4 - Gskill Trident 32GB DDR4-3600 LG 34GP63A-B Ultrawide - ASUS VG259QM MSFS2020

If I remember correctly if AT are on as you said on manual landing they should go automatically to idle at 20 FT, like in the -8. The problems I mentioned you will find more or less in their forum: * Transition leg issues on almost every flight. Transition Leg Issue Yesterday, 20:37 Altitude Oscillations at Cruise. Yesterday, 23:33 And the issue seems to be according to DDowns "When the A/P fails to hold track and starts wandering off the first suspect is the motherboard battery. This just happened to one of the guys on the beta team a couple of weeks ago. This has nothing to do with the transition or arrival procedure". I'm sorry, but when you see statements like that from a person like that, involved in evaluating and making sure that the software works is quite alarming. You can go on their forum and see what is all about, yes there are some very small fixes but I'm afraid that is beyond their capabilities and knowledge at this point. No product is perfect, but the T7 is a really good aircraft now. It's a complex product, so some people will always be having problems, which they will report on the PMDG forum. I can't think of a flightsim aircraft where there are NOT bug reports on the support forums! It doesn't mean that the product in question is hopelessly flawed. The general opinion on the PMDG forums (which I read thoroughly) seems to be very positive now, with some thoughts that the upcoming AFDS upgrade will provide improved autoflight performance. As a non-ATP who has flown PMDG products since FS9, I'd say this one flies pretty well now. Autopilot flight has been very stable for me - no oscillations at all noted on my 4-hour flight - and, as I mentioned, my first landing was very smooth. I'm going to keep testing, of course, but I wouldn't want people to avoid this plane based on misapprehensions about the size or prevalence of the bugs. It's currently my favorite P3D aircraft. March 19, 20215 yr [19MAR21] A round of small updates for the 777 product line were just released via PMDG Operations Center Today, 00:09 Captains, A few moments ago we pushed a set of updates for the entire 777 P3D product line. This is another minor-cleanup and nuisance removal update that is available for you via the PMDG Operations Center micro-update process. To obtain the update, simply launch the PMDG Operations Center, click Aircraft and Liveries and then click Product Updates. From this page, you will be notified of an update for the entire range of 777 to bring them up to build 1.11.1201. The change list for this update cycle is pretty brief: PMDG 777 Full Product Line - 1.11.1201 - 19MAR21 ================================================== ======= 0009587: [General - Unsure] PVD Inop on both takeoff and landing and previous update 1.11.1183 (rsrandazzo) 0009582: [Main Panel - EICAS Messaging Issues] AUTOBRAKE advisory message intermittent on braking disconnect (rsrandazzo) 0009612: [AFDS - Thrust Modes] Protection against low speed climbs (emvaos) 0009605: [External Model - Geometry] 200ER Beacon no splash effect on Ground (jbrown) 0009604: [External Model - Geometry] 200ER TLA insufficient to reach m/switch for T/O thrust range system logic at deeply derated thrust or very high assumed temp. I don't have any schedule information for those changes largely because I don't want to hem myself into a schedule that we might/might not be able to make- so watch here and we will let you know as we roll them out! Thanks again for all of your support of the 777- we hope you have some fun flying planned for her this weekend! I'm going to grab some dinner and then I'll be back with some further updates on the Road Ahead! Robert S. Randazzo PMDG Simulationshttp://www.pmdg.com
March 20, 20215 yr Some of those updates in the beginning when users post in their forum they got denied, from PMDG forum "it is normal" and showed bunch of log info about it, but then, yeah, users were correct... March 20, 20215 yr The sounds overhaul in this updated version has been fantastic. It Has been the most immersive experience in a Fight Simulator for me yet. Feels like you are in the cockpit. Ground handling is really unique now; feels like a true heavy. Well done to all. What a machine! HDR off and it looks great with EA mode on. Edited March 20, 20215 yr by simon747 Simon
March 21, 20215 yr I took it yesterday from UUEE - OMDB - UUEE. it worked flawlessly both sectors. A great and well needed update

There’s a “sort-of” weather radar that they added due to user pressure, but it’s not realistic when compared to the real unit’s function. March 22, 20215 yr Glad to hear some others are really enjoying their time in the T7. Here is where my T7 is right now, on the active at Justsim LEMD. It's a great simulation of the type, and a lot of fun to fly. March 22, 20215 yr Again tried the latest patch and put her through her paces in the pattern at ESSA, autoflight off. At one point trim reference speed is 20kts above current speed and yet the plane decides exit level flight and begin a 550fpm gentle climb until it almost stalls. Something is off here - probably at my end. But the 777 is AOG for the time being. All other complex airliners work as intended. I cant figure it out why the 777 flies so badly in my game.
