May 25, 20215 yr Thought experiment. Consider this: 1. Assume the concept of Multiverse is true. 2. Each universe, including our own, contains a finite amount of stuff and that amount will always remain immutable, albeit different, in each universe. 3. That stuff exists either as matter or energy and the two are interchangeable within the constraints imposed by the same laws of physics existing in each universe. 4. Those laws of physics (known and yet to be determined) are fixed and will always apply irrespective of which universe is being visited by the observer and/or object/vehicle. 5. Travelling from one universe to another creates an imbalance in terms of matter and energy. In one there will be a negative change and in the other the change will be positive. Both create instabilities which cannot be sustained and so there will be a natural and powerful tendency to revert. 6. Most “genuine” recorded UFO observations do not persist and appear to be transient in nature. 7. Could this be evidence of the existence of a Multiverse? 8. Could we speculate about other civilisations experimenting with Multiverse bridging technologies that are still in their infancy? Food for thought? Mike

Both of them suffer from a common mistake in probabilistic reasoning about events, in that they guess specific numbers for the likelihood of events As I mentioned earlier, the Drake Equation was initially a bit of fun on Frank Drake's part for something to talk about at a lecture, and it makes a multitude of assumptions. Although there have been attempts to fine tune it. But yes, it still guesses numbers. The Fermi Paradox isn't about guessing numbers though, it just asks where the evidence is.

Each universe, including our own, contains a finite amount of stuff and that amount will always remain immutable, albeit different, in each universe. Probably not the case though. Thus far, our best measurements tell us that the universe is geometrically flat, and if it is, it's infinite. Unless its so subtly curved that its currently beyond our capability to detect. There was some fuss with the Planck data a while back that suggested it was curved, but turned out to be an error. 16 hours ago, Cruachan said: 3. Current thinking is that an alternate universe could have different physical laws. That applies to M-Theory and Eternal Inflations pocket universes and all of the others I know about. Some would be similar to ours others would be wildly different and some would have no matter whatsoever. 16 hours ago, Cruachan said: 5. Currently our thinking is that if alternate universes exist we wouldn't be able to access them. Nobody could go there are nobody from another universe could come here. They would be causally disconnected. Unless aliens know different of course! 😮 👍 16 hours ago, Cruachan said: 6. Science currently tells us that traveling to or from other universes is unlikely. Some would say not possible at all. But history has told us that claiming things are impossible, on occasion, has been a bad idea. Edited May 26, 20215 yr by martin-w

Without any need for enumeration we can all cite numerous examples in our daily lives which are now taken for granted and yet hitherto would have been considered by many as being the product of fanciful if not delusional thought. Invariably, what is regarded as being impossible is usually based on the contemporary state of knowledge and understanding of how things work. As history has demonstrated, another hundred years down the line we can be certain that this will change. However, I anticipate that we will see a flattening of the curve of progress against time as the unearthed complexities of new challenges increases by several orders of magnitude. Mike

May 26, 20215 yr Author Actually, just after I went to bed last night, I was abducted by a rather attractive busty blonde alien lady. She whisked me off to her planet. It only took 1.6 seconds because we went through a wormhole that the ship propped open with negative energy. When we got to her planet she subjected me to a horrible experience, I mean really horrible. She made me make lots of babies because she needed my DNA. She told me all about the Muon thing as a reward for my hard work. On the way back home she stopped off to mutilate a few cattle, make a few crop circles and buzz a few aircraft carriers. Then I awoke in my bed the next morning. This was definitely NOT a dream! Honest truth! Edited May 26, 20215 yr by martin-w

May 28, 20215 yr Author A new video for you lads! Multiple objects on radar and vanishing! Leaked radar footage. Opinions welcome. this is just prior to the Pentagon's deadline for releasing UAP info of course. Edited May 28, 20215 yr by martin-w
May 28, 20215 yr Demanding answers? If they don't know what they are anymore than we know what are how are they going to give us answers? Or maybe they know and just don't want to tell us? Why don't they want to tell us? Perhaps it's military technology they won't tell us about because they don't want to tell the enemy about. Or perhaps there has been a lull in these things and they have to keep the interest alive? Who knows? Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.

I suspect that will be the response from the Pentagon. They will just release a few videos, claim they have no answers but are investigating and that will be it. Why the guy in the video was referring to 138 knots a fast I'm not sure. Unless he was saying too fast for a drone or bird.

All of us here are operating in ignorance relying on second hand reports or first hand reports that might have been doctored or intentionally misleading. We are surmising what might be possible and what we think will be possible in the future. I like to watch Law and Order sometimes. "The guy that robbed the liquor store was somewhere between 5'6'' or 6'6" and he was wearing a hoodie or a leather jacket and a watch cap or a business sit and a fedora. He was black or Hispanic or white. He walked or ran to a waiting limousine or SUV or sportscar that was red or orange or yellow or blue. No, nobody got the license plate number. He wasn't carrying a gun or he was carrying one in his left or right hand. I didnt' see a thing officer, I was watching that UFO up there. It' gone now." May 29, 20215 yr Author This is radar footage from the Omaha incident we spoke about earlier where 100 of these objects flew in and around the ships in the fleet. At the time this radar footage was shot 14 of them were closing in on the Omaha. There are certainly large military drones that can fly faster than that. Global Hawk flies at 340 knots but its a big aircraft. These guys were small. They could also loiter for a long time. If some countries drones, they are very advanced. Seen to hover over the deck, loiter longer than should be possible and faster than small drones. The IR footage I posted the other day that looked like it dropped into the water was from the same 2019 incident. Pentagon confirms its genuine footage.
