May 8, 20215 yr A pleasant surprise while navigating through some of the default airports. Give SEQM - Quito a try. The approaches are somewhat challenging with a lot of mountainous terrain, beautiful scenery and high density altitude. The airport is at 7910'. Randall Rocke

May 9, 20215 yr I haven’t been there yet in MSFS but I loved flying heavy freighters into the Flightbeam version in P3D. Beautiful scenery and all the challenges of a high altitude airport! May 9, 20215 yr Author It was fairly close to the metar report for that time when I went in. I didn't break from cloud cover until the FAP. I flew in from Columbia, experiencing everything from high altitude turbulence to rain squalls. Randall Rocke
May 11, 20215 yr I did too. This scenery is just wonderful/ I have a video I made a while back with that scenery:(3) MSFS 2020 LATAM aterriza en Quito - YouTube

On youtube you wrote about the C-46. JustFlight made a C-46 for P3D a few years back, maybe they will make a C-46 for MSFS also. The C-46 is really interesting with its cockpit view, and good for high-altitude Colombia / Ecuador flying. As for SEQM scenery, MSFS needs the FlightBeam SEQM we have in P3D, although the default is still pretty good. Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB

Nice for the sim, not so cool in real life 🙂, have been in a couple of missed approaches to RWY36 with all people screaming because of heavy turbulence... the scenery in the sim is great.
