July 9, 20214 yr Hi i am not sure if it’s a problem with my yoke, the kind of aircraft or something with MSFS but I am finding that my aircraft all go slightly to the left. It’s more noticeable on take off where I need to move the rudder to the right, but it still happens when in level flight. this happens more with propeller aircraft so is it to do with the rotation of the propeller? My jets also go left a little so it could be my saitek yoke, even though I have calibrated it. Does anyone else experience the same?
July 9, 20214 yr Do you have a passenger in the right seat? Try that, same 170 lb weight as the pilot.
July 9, 20214 yr Administrators Is that like having fuel only in the left tank and not in the right? 🤔 Charlie AronAVSIM Board of Directors-ADMIN/Moderator-RegistrarJust going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Without a passenger, the plane wants to roll to the left nonstop. Add the passenger and it flies level as a sheet of glass. Well documented here and the JF forums.
July 9, 20214 yr You didn't specify which aircraft this is happening in. The Caravan, TBM etc? Oddly enough I noticed this very issue while flying a 737 in X-Plane 11 and the cause was a tiny (like 0.5%) deployment of the spoilers on the right wing and nothing would make them go back down until the landing. July 10, 20214 yr Ive been finding it as well. Never knew jets suffered from P factor, but it's happening. Matt C
July 10, 20214 yr For me, the rudder trim slider on this desktopaviator panel is an elegant solution to these issues, meanwhile the elevator wheel is the other trim control right there handy. Both of these trims are used often every flight. The 6 switches are actually 12, set them up or down. Those 6 toggle switches are only $3 to replace each one (one of mine developed an intermittent fault, was super easy and cheap to replace). 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel.
