July 14, 20214 yr Just a heads up for those experiencing higher CPU loads using the latest NVIDIA drivers. There is an issue with the GeForce Experience game capture process NVRLA.exe constantly using CPU resources - for me it was around 10% - causing higher temps. If you end the task in Task Manager processes tab the temps return to normal. NVIDIA are looking into this issue:NVRLA.exe causing high CPU temps. | NVIDIA GeForce Forums
July 14, 20214 yr That's interesting. Maybe that's one of the reasons why I didn't observe such a high 'GPU->CPU load transfer' as it has been reported by others. I never install GeForce Experience when I update my drivers. - Harry 9800x3D (Strix x870e-E) - 64GB RAM (DDR5 6000, CL 30) - RTX 5090, 34'' 1440p OLED HDR - Windows 11 Pro (1TB M.2) - MSFS 2024 (MS Store, 4TB M.2).

July 14, 20214 yr I do not even have the file nvrla.exe on my system. Could it be, because I always only install the driver and never Nvidia Experience? Is it part of this? July 14, 20214 yr NVSlimmer Easily strip away all that's is not needed in the Nvidia drivers, repackage and then install. Easy, peasy... and far better than installing all of Nvidia's bloatware/trackingware.
