July 20, 20214 yr I tried a lot of different connectors/adapter on mine, and I could never make it work on WIN10 Edited July 20, 20214 yr by bendead
July 20, 20214 yr According to this it should work in Windows 10 with joy.cpl command and a rockfire 4 mode adapter. That is a gameport connector, but only 9 of the 15 pins are needed so the other pins don't exist. If you look closely at the connector and count, you can probably see where the other 6 pins would be placed. https://www.amazon.com/USB-Joystick-Gameport-Converter-Adapter/dp/B078W1VT1R/ref=asc_df_B078W1VT1R/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=416713600736&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=7436276088414913242&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9032277&hvtargid=pla-456958838049&psc=1&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=93604214533&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=416713600736&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=7436276088414913242&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9032277&hvtargid=pla-456958838049 https://www.amazon.com/Belkin-Joystick-Adapter-SideWinder-F3U200-08/dp/B000067RIV/ref=pd_bxgy_1/141-0557041-9981764?pd_rd_w=s16Ql&pf_rd_p=c64372fa-c41c-422e-990d-9e034f73989b&pf_rd_r=NAJ6MK71EBQKJEZYWD1W&pd_rd_r=c4abcfae-a0ec-4c51-b04e-fd6e5656306d&pd_rd_wg=8PglY&pd_rd_i=B000067RIV&psc=1 These two?
July 20, 20214 yr I've been a huge advocate for Force Feedback since it's inception. I've always used a Microsoft FF2 joystick and when I've tried other joysticks, I keep coming back to the FF2. Those who do not have it shouldn't criticize those of us who love it. Russell Dirks has had his Force Feedback software available for FSX and it works beautifully in P3d...all versions. I use it every single day. He has not made it for MSFS, and I wish he would, but my FF2 works pretty well with XForce software in that sim. I simply can't imagine the "ABSENCE" of tactile feedback in all the other joysticks that are being use. Can't imagine it! I have at least 6 Microsoft FF2 joysticks in reserve should something happen to the one I'm using. I bought some in new and slightly used condition on EBAY. If you want to see how valuably these joysticks are considered, check out the price of a Microsoft FF2 joystick on EBAY. Force feedback has a tremendously huge following regardless of what the naysayers purport. Stan
July 20, 20214 yr I agree! I still use my Logitech G940 and really like the force feedback. Am hoping it gets added to MSFS as a default setting. I know that there have been some that have been able to get it to work with some supplemental software, but I was not aware of the application at the time. Also, it didn't help that at the time I was beginning with FS that ASOBO trashed the Sensitivity system and I basically had to stop flying until they corrected it. Randall Rocke

July 20, 20214 yr RandallR, Did you keep the stick or sell it? Prices are still high for FF2 joysticks that are in excellent condition on EBAY, but there are still some good prices for the stick on that site. Stan Edited July 20, 20214 yr by spilok
July 20, 20214 yr Author Very good testimonials! I just want an adapter because I have it and I would not like to throw it away. I have CH rudder pedals and yoke which are useful for Boeing and General Aviation. For Airbus it could be good if I can use Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro. If those two I mentioned work without with Win10 without aditional drivers, it would be perfect. By the way, is this one good? https://www.pccomponentes.pt/thrustmaster-tca-officer-pack-airbus-edition-palanca-control-lateral-cuadrante-de-aceleracion Edited July 20, 20214 yr by harpsi

I've heard of a few being able to adapt it but most of those that were successful seemed to be using XPForce. Stan The stick had reached the end of its useful life. I was still using it with one other program but its contacts had gotten so bad that I had to reset/calibrate it before every use and exercise it heavily. Believe me, if it had still been optimum I would have sold it. I took it to an electronic recycling center. I am very, very pleased with the T.16000M and the TWCS. Great quality and a good "feel". July 20, 20214 yr I still have my Force Feedback that I got for Xmas in '99. I haven't used it in about 12 years and I think the rudder got a bit wonky. I wish Microsoft would bring forcefeedback, back! ASUS Prime Z490-A / i7-10700K / RTX 4080 / G.SKILL Ripjaws 32GB / Lian-Li PC-O11 Dynamic case
