I guess the beta testers never use any Ai Traffic.

We spoke very loud and clear and they are aware of the issue.

Well then this beta testing that they have been talking about for months, is a sham. If you don't listen to your beta testers and fix issues  they report, then they are wasting your time, and BS ing the rest of us. They should never claim from now on, that they are beta testing anything.

They were A LOT more major issues they fixed. They just didn't have enough time or resources to fix them all.

Many argued not to release it until fixed...

You must be correct. It is only the incredible brainpower of the AVsim community that can find this in 5 minutes that 500 testers never found in a month.

Why are you assuming beta testers didn't find this ?

The beta testing wasn't a sham, a lot of people volunteered time and effort for free to try and make the SIM better.

They've prodded and poked it, found stuff, reported it, reproduced it and in some cases performed detailed investigation to identify a root cause all without any compensation (apart from it appears many with broken installs that require a full redownload to work again)

Its not their fault that (as with the original release) it was deemed more important to release on a specific date than address identified issues.

With Aerosoft releasing their addon, this will likely be fixed soon.

That is exactly what I am talking about. You tell people that you are going to beta test a release, you get people to test it, they point out things that are not right, and you release it anyway.  I have beta tested sim products for years, and when we reported an issue, it was fixed, we were sent an upgraded version, and if we OK the fix, then it was released. That is the purpose of beta testing.

Here is a look at what we have now.

The beta testing happened - the known issues list is there because the testers told them about those issues.

Fixing the bugs is separate from the testing and what can be fixed depends on what resources are available - IME its vanishingly rare to fix absolutely everything tests find so you prioritise. In this case Asobo had no resource/time to fix high priority things that were found because they werent able to delay the release. (My thoughts on why Asobo lacked that time isnt really something I can talk about courtesy of the NDA)

It does seem to be random, I was sitting at JFK watching the live traffic land for about 45 minutes, not a single CTD. Tried to fly from CYYZ to CYHZ, crashed after 15 minutes.

Currently 30 minutes into a flight from CYHZ to CYOW, so far no CTD, seen about 5 planes (not in a very busy part yet).

I did notice that with live traffic aircraft never seem to depart they just stay at their gate forever, their front wheels also aren't deplayed. Landing planes (when they don't stop in the middle of the runway) will park fine.

Hmm honestly that is not too bad. I think this "popping" is more prevalent in areas with photogrammetry. It's a little annoying but given the insane boost in performance we've gotten overall, I can live with it for now. Hopefully Asobo can improve this. I think it might also be more pronounced as the servers are getting an absolute thrashing. After looking and watching more videos I'm more optimistic than I was.

Not to argue, (I don't like getting griped at) but I was just in a 30 minute flight in the Mooney with live Ai and multiplayers flooding Barthelemy and had no problem other than MSFS clearing some of my Warthog stick settings. There must have been about 20 multiplayers within spotting distance.

It's been this way since launch beta and also VR beta.

The testers are always very observant and thorough with their own reports and notes.

Some things submitted really fall on deaf ears with MS/Asobo.

The majority of the beta testers actually do an awesome job every time, it's the time/resource management of MS/Asobo that knowingly let issues slip through the cracks.
