Hi everyone,

I don't know if you noticed but WT had shipped this as a free additional content within the sim via the Marketplace.

Noob question: Is it the same as downloading their WT G1000 separately (I keep them up to date via the MSFS Community Downloader addon), or do we have to disable the WT1000 from the Community folder before getting the WT1000GXi?

You need disable the previous G1000 mod to use the NXi.

The new G1000 NXI is a completely built from scratch instrument. It is distributed as "early access" through the marketplace until it is at a good enough place to be integrated into the core sim.

The WT G1000 mod was a modification of the stock G1000 and you can't run both at the same time, since the NXI replaces that stack. So remove it from the community folder when using the NXI.

The download from the store seems tiny? 50mb or thereabouts. Is this correct?

If I may, the screens are much more darker, is it on purpose?

I'd like to find out how to get rid of this early access NXI, it's not ready for prime time and prior to installing it, I had no idea it would cause problems with two other add-ons. Any one know how one could get it un installed??

Remove it with the ingame Content Manager

I read somewhere the new G1000 has a brightness control. Could be this causes the initial darker screen?

I looked in there early this morning, I'll check again, sure didn't see anything about NXI in that list.

Anybody else having a problem loading or activating approach procedure? 

Yes. I can't activate an approach  with the Enter button but the approach will load (use Load option instead of Activate); will  then need manual sequencing  using the Menu button Activate Leg option (which does work!).
