It's that grainy old film look. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Film_grain Vignette is the gradual darkening affect around the screen borders. It more or less simulates the look of old movie film. We've had prominent posters as recently as a few hours ago say no LOD changes were made. Some people are afraid that pointing out issues means turning the crowd off to the sim I guess... August 3, 20214 yr I tried all of this earlier today makes your sim very sluggish - seems Asobo has a lot of work to do if it seems to good to be true it is - they dumbed down the sim as much has possible and sold us a bill of goods on super fps - like we wont figure it out They hosed the sim for sbox to be able to run semi decent I saw videos and its popping and not much lod - they need to be two separate entity's but they dont want that - that would be to much work and we may be out of luck - Their plan is one injection into both platforms - easier for them but not good for pc users Rich Sennett
