Final short test flight for the night from EGPN to EGPH.   Sound 40+ FPS all the way, no stutters, pauses, tearing, much improved graphics.  But, the terminal building at EGPH has gone missing!  The jetways are there but no building.  It may have been missing before the hotfix, I'm not sure.  I'll have to investigate further.  But apart form that, it's safe to say that MSFS is back in business.

Haven't had my PC for a couple of weeks so I'm still on SU4. Can I get here from there or is it a complete reinstall now ?

Oh well. Could be the image compression. To me the terrain is now looking way better than it ever did before at this (and lower even) altitudes.

Also I should mention that I keep the sharpening filter disabled.

You can disable it in the UserCfg.opt file. Go to the PostProcess section (make sure not the VR one), and change Sharpen from 1 to 0. Your in-game graphics preset must be set to Custom else it will be reset.

Most people seem to prefer the filter enabled so don't expect it to look better afterwards, personally I just really dislike the oversharpened look.

Yes, I moved the weather from live to clear, and there was still Haze, which shouldn't be.
