Can I jump off the update train, please!

Featured Replies

As far as my system is concerned...SU5 (with latest Hotfix), I want to jump off the Update Train, and just stay now in SU5 HF city.

Great performance, great visuals...smooth as silk....PLEASE...please, give me the choice to stay with this, or chance moving on in updates.   Can you Asobo do that for me, please?

Smooth sim. GREAT FPS,  totally 'happy with' visuals....I don't wanna get on the next stagecoach to whatever...happy to stay here in SU5HF town...called Hope Valley....Mountie Jack, tell the Stage Coach driver, he can peel on out, without  me....

Yes. HF2 is a winner. The terrain from high altitude (FL330) is absolutely, without question, the best I have ever seen since the sim released one year ago! Lighting is much improved. I am doing a flight right now from LAS to SLC. No sign of the temperature bug at high altitude. Unfortunately, the weather is severe VFR with no clouds anywhere (accurate to r/w conditions today) so I won’t have a chance to compare HF1 to HF2 clouds.

I took a flight from Biloxi to Flint Michigan in the C J4.  Not ONE problem, in the cockpit, and out of the cockpit. The terrain was as crystal clear as a bell, from 17,000 and please...let me choose to stay at this train depot...I need to 'update' rest... 🙂

I swear to gawd...if SU6 or WU Whatever takes out my present situation...I am going to track down where Asobo hangs out...and HAUNT THEM...they will rue the day they ever forced me to leave SU5HF town....yep, will rue the day!  LOL.

I took a flight from KSEA to CYVR with the Longitude, and with all settings at max ultra (3440x1440) as well as Live weather and traffic, my fps never got below 40, it's unbelievable good.

Right with ya 🙂   Don't touch a thing Asobo! Not graphics/performance wise anyway.   Its a work of art.

I wonder how the Xbox conspiracy theorists are getting on?  Eating a big plate of humble pie I hope.

Dumbed down for Xbox.....🤣🤣

You'll have to remember....people around the world, regarding any subject, will comment and speculate on the 'then' state of the world, the country, a flight sim...but when things change,  weather, politics,  sim performance, then they will comment with that new information, action, or performance.  The 'talk' always matches the 'state' of all the above...

The sim shines now, and so do my comments regarding it.   Cause...and Effect.   That, is the constant. 🙂  Cheers!

Spot on.  Those guys uninstalled and went back to P3D and XPlane remember because MSFS was such an abomination and Asobo had ruined their entire existence.  Hope they're enjoying themselves.

Jase

Jase, cause and effect...the dismal state before the Hotfix...caused them to.  The raving reviews and comments of the present will 'cause' them to return.  This is not un-normal.  My thoughts, anyway.

Lol good luck! But trust me, it is times like this that a pause in updates sounds good. But onward and upward we go!
