September 6, 20214 yr I own about 6 payware aircraft. Xcrafts E175, FF B757-200, FF A350, FFA320, SSGE-170 and Zibo B738. Zibo is the only aircraft that works without a bunch of problems. E175 - The FMS just sucks. The a/c feels cheap/flimsy. Havent even been able to get the thing off the ground because the flight plan wont enter properly. FF B757-200 - Just bought this two days ago. Havent completed a flight yet. Not sure yet, but probably basic ignorance of the aircraft as it is not as much like Zibo as I hoped for. I cant get the IRS to align so it wont follow any flight path. FFA350 - Made one flight with this. Seems ok but had some flight path and other issues (braking again) and it took me a week just to get it off the ground. FFA320 - Looks great, feels great, toe brakes dont work on my Saitek rudder pedals at all and I've found no solution. Cant even use it. SSGE-170 - Another flimsy a/c. I dont think I care for Embraer aircraft. Havent been able to complete a flight at all in this thing. Doesnt work well in VR. Zibo - No problems. Works great. Far superior to anything else out there. Best a/c for any flight sim. The only problem is I want to fly more than one airliner. None of the others come even close to this one. I've wrapped up a few hundred bucks at least in all of these. I'm not impressed but for Zibo and maybe FF if I can ever get any answers from anyone on any forums. But XP11 is way better than MSFS2020. I quit using that sim entirely. So I guess I'll go make a Zibo flight. Edited September 6, 20214 yr by gryper
September 6, 20214 yr I am very much convinced that the problem with the toe brakes not working is on your side... all in all I can´t help that after browsing through your "problems" with all those aircraft that a good portion of those problems can be attributed to not operating them/configuring X-Plane correctly. I believe that if you would stick a non-trained layman pilot into a real Airbus (I fly them for a living), he would probably also need at least a week to get it off the ground 😆. September 6, 20214 yr I'm with Janov regarding the rudder. Maybe your other controller is conflicting because it also has an axis assigned to the rudder ? Check for magenta message notifying you have multiple controller axis assigned to a given aircraft control, in the joystick settings menu. September 6, 20214 yr I have the same Saitek rudder pedals and works with no issues. Jude BradleyBeech Baron: Uh, Tower, verify you want me to taxi in front of the 747?ATC: Yeah, it's OK. September 6, 20214 yr Save for the framerate hit, Zibo's 737 is indeed hard to beat, although I admittedly mostly fly it because of the soundset. I wish the ToLiss A321 was on the same level in that regard. The only other aircraft I have that comes close in the sound department is the FJS 727. The approach and landing I did with it yesterday was in a very windy area (including wind shear alerts) and the shaking and bucking of the airframe was accompanied by a symphony of the cockpit audibly rattling plus frantic manual RPM and elevator trim changes. All that was missing was the sound of rain or hail hitting the windshield and the windscreen wiper motors deperately struggling to provide a view of the runway. I was there regardless. 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days
September 6, 20214 yr Ssg 170 works perfectly fine, i learnt all my procedures in it taught me heaps. Plenty of tutorials on it.
September 6, 20214 yr I use the SSG 195 and I think after the last update of v.1.6.4 it is a very decent plane.
September 6, 20214 yr I have both the SSG's 170/195 and they are fine. No issues at all. Sure there is a little leaning curve with the FMS but there is nothing in this aircraft that can't be learned and get use to. This was an easy aircraft to get up and fly with no issues. The start-up procedures are a piece of cake, not much to switch on. The only problem I had was my fault in the beginning when I try to land these jets. I was landing too fast but once I corrected that all was fine and smooth. Don't give up on it yet! Edited September 6, 20214 yr by F1Fan
September 7, 20214 yr I made a mistake when I bought the X-Crafts E175/195. I should have gone for the SSG. Apart from the frame rate hit both the FF767 and A350 are superb. Toliss did the FMS in the A350 so if you can fly a Toliss you can fly the A350. The Zibo is great and if you can manage to keep it up to date there's always new things to learn to keep you interested. I do get a bit fed up with the download limit has been reached message though.... Edited September 7, 20214 yr by jarmstro
