September 9, 20214 yr All of this is nothing to do with the original topic, but even if it was, who cares what the Smithsonian Institute agreed to? It's not the arbiter of aviation records for the planet, that's the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale. Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

Though of course Derrida was talking about how the meaning of literature and art must take into account (or is even entirely derived from) the reader/viewer and was not really claiming physical facts about the real world can change based on the political views of the individual. Would love to discuss your comment but I don't want to go off-topic. The nice thing about flight is that it based on the laws of physics as agreed by all today. It's apolitical and does not depend on perception, interpretation, or other skills. The result is strictly binary. Either the plane will fly or it will not. 🙂 Hardware: i7-8700k, GTX 1070-ti, 32GB ram, NVMe/SSD drives with lots of free space. Software: latest Windows 10 Pro, P3Dv4.5+, FSX Steam, and lots of addons (100+ mostly Orbx stuff).
September 9, 20214 yr Getting back to the Ju-52, does anyone know if it will come with ski's and floats. like the Husky did? Asobo seem to like pushing their 'fly anywhere' theme now, so there might be a chance, and this thing taking off from water would be a blast! As for the other item discussed in this thread... Everyone knows it was Icarus. My mate, 'tin-foil hat', told me, so it must be true - game over! Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's. Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.
September 9, 20214 yr I'm looking for details like those available in the IL-2 version: Learn to fly the Junkers 52/3m g4e - YouTube Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

Everyone knows it was Icarus. My mate, 'tin-foil hat', told me, so it must be true - game over! Not only that, Icarus' aeroplanes was (briefly) the world's first solar powered aeroplane too. 🤣 Somebody call the F.A.I. On the subject of the F.A.I. fun fact of the day: One of the most unusual variants of the Junkers 52 was a special order VIP version of it - designated the Ju 52 3mba - which was built in 1931 for the then-president of the F.A.I - Romanian Prince, Gheorghe Bibescu - it was powered by a 750hp Hispano-Suiza 12MB engine in the nose and two Hispano-Suiza 12ND 567hp engines on the wings, which made it one of the fastest Ju52s built. Like yourself, I am hoping they do a floatplane version of it; since there were quite a few of these produced in real life. Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

If there's anyone who should be earning their ire it should be their management and MS's management that forced them to release the update is such an appalling state not paying customers who were rightly disappointed with the product that was delivered. Now you claim that they 'play a major role for "the increase and diffusion of knowledge". Are you for them or against them?
