No core is even at 80% Since you say you are 5 hours into your flight I am pretty sure you have run into the known issue of the performance degradation over time. It's still an unsolved mystery but you can try this workaround, I just found and posted in the MSFS forum: Quote When the FPS drops to an unacceptable low value (or precautionary shortly before top of descent): - Save the flight - Go to the Main Menu (no need to close the sim) - Load the saved flight FPS were back up to normal after reloading the flight. Only drawback for me was that I had to reload the flightplan into the FMS of the FBW A320 (and choose a direct to the current waypoint), but that just took me a minute. September 8, 20214 yr Author Holly fck! Turning off the online traffic fixed it! On the "Traffic" section i turned off the "Aircraft Traffic Type" and on the data tab i turned off the "Live real world air traffic" and "Multiplayer" Look at this... what a difference This is the same flight. I just turned off those options I dont know which of those was the culprit but for sure its fixed now Juan Ramos
September 8, 20214 yr Nice finding. Never had that problem but I don't do long flights. Possibly there is a problem with AI traffic after some hours of flight. September 8, 20214 yr If it's traffic related I'd suggest it's either a bad livery (paint) or a bad model. Are you using any traffic addons like Project MegaPack? i7-6700k • Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD5 • 32GB DDR4 2666 • EVGA FTW ULTRA RTX3080 12GB

For me this did not work when I last tried it and I ran into the issue even with AI traffic off (some others have reported that too).

Now the DC-6 is a big of a red herring as it's really limited on all system. I barely get 40 fps on the ground and my PC is a beast. If you try something like a 747 or 787 and you will see how limiting your CPU is. https://fsprocedures.com Your home for all flight simulator related checklist.
