Give it a rest on the "your cpu is holding you back"...you have no idea what you're talking about!

With reasonable settings a 4790 is more than adequate to run MSFS.

Sure like people don't have more than 1 pc at home and never experience what it's like to have lower FPS with lesser CPU...or wait. I even have YT video about it when I was running MSFS on my TR 1950x (AMD zen1 processor). Of course. I have no idea what I am talking about....I am glad you enjoy y our 8 years old cpu.

This is the same flight. I just turned off those options

Post the rest of your settings - the goal is to get the GPU maxed out as much as possible so you can squeeze out the best performance.

Most of my settings are at ultra with the exception of buildings (high) and trees (Medium). Other than that nearly everything is maxed out.

After i land i will post screenshots showing them

Your CPU is really old and core bottleneck.

Naw.  I've got the same with a 1080 Ti and outside of large cities I'm seeing 40-50 fps.  Unless the DC6 is a major fps hog, something else seems to be amiss.

Could it be a scenery addon perhaps?

naa it's the DC-6. There is something with it that is very cpu intensive but that being said. there was a beta build where the performance was in the high 40s. When Robert mention that some rendering channel was disable, I know exactly what he is talking about.

Wow.

Attitude check?   You're not coming across well here.

Unless you haven't been following the whole thread, it's already been confirmed that the issue was concerned purely with live traffic.   He turned off live traffic and his FPS went up to 60 FPS locked.    .....on that 'ancient' 4790, that of course is not as good as your superior system.

TL:DR - You were miles off.  It was nothing to do with the capability of his CPU.

Juan,

You don't need that "Sorry for my bad english" in your sig. No need for the apology.

Hi, thanks!

The problem is that since im not a native english speaker, sometimes i may make silly mistakes here and there so it may be useful for people to know that so they could give me some slack.

But now that you say that, i think you do have a point there. Thanks for pointing that out. I will change that.
