September 17, 20214 yr I've had CTDs with tbm mod installed. What is working for me, is switch battery with hardware switch ie. Honeycomb Alpha, or logitech panel. Intel Core i9 13900K, NVidia RTX 4090 FE, Corsair Vengeance DDR5 64GB@6000MHz, Samsung 990 Pro 2TB NVMe M2, Asus OLED PG42 UQ
September 18, 20214 yr It seems to work at default airport for me, but not with third party airports, so i've made a compromise and use the default TBM with the engine and flightmodel cfg files from the mod, in that way I get the better turning radius and throttle response from the mod, that is good enough for me. September 18, 20214 yr Author With latest win 10 pro updates, without g3000 mode only with tbm930 mode i don't have any crash. With g3000 mode something causes crashes for some users. C. Uygar Aircraft Maint. Engineer. at LTFJ
September 18, 20214 yr Hi, Have had systematic CTDs at WT G3000 startup. I only have 16GB RAM and resolved this issue by increasing amount of VRAM to 32GB in advanced system settings.

September 18, 20214 yr I have 64 GB RAM and also 64 GB VRAM, I still get the CTD when turning on the battery switch with the G3000 installed. Windows 10 Pro 21H1 all the usual updates. I do have the Logitech Multi and Switch panels. And they're controlled through Spad.neXt with a TBM profile. Could that be a common denominator? September 22, 20214 yr I noticed that the TBM mod has been updated again. Current version is 0.6.1. On the Github page it states the following: Quote (SU5 Issue) Aircraft can CTD your SIM sometimes if G3000 Mod + Navigraph/Shift+Z Toolbar Panel is installed. (SU5 Issue) Taxi/Landing Light hardware switch wrong definition. Use mouse cockpit interaction. (SU5 Issue) Throttle lever left<->right position. Hold left mouse button, then click right mouse button. (Vanilla issue) Fuel consumption is increasing during climb, which is the opposite that should happen. It's lower than it should be at lower altitudes and higher than it should be at higher altitudes. That's not happening only on the TBM, and it's a vanilla MSFS issue. The fuel flow will match closely on cruise altitudes, and will be way lower on lower altitudes. I removed the Shift-Z Toolbar mod, and now it works perfectly. September 23, 20214 yr I re-enabled the WT-G3000 last night for a flight for the 1st time since SU5, after finally getting my CTD's under control it seems. I was on a flight into RKSI on an ILS approach but ATC waited until I was about 6 miles from the point you aquire the GS before telling me to descend from 29,000 to 2,600. What happened next was really weird, I hit VS with a 2000ft descent and the plane just went into a turn and spiraled down just outside the GS point. When it got to 2,600 it then vectored to the correct approach path but met it inside the marker so missed the GS. This was during the time last night when there were some weirdness in the networks for MSFS. Was this an issue with the ATC being wonky or something in the G3000 mod? September 23, 20214 yr I can confirm that TBM930/WTG3000 crashes at some specific airports while other a/c is stable. - Harry 9800x3D (Strix x870e-E) - 64GB RAM (DDR5 6000, CL 30) - RTX 5090, 34'' 1440p OLED HDR - Windows 11 Pro (1TB M.2) - MSFS 2024 (MS Store, 4TB M.2).
September 23, 20214 yr Interesting - the last 10 flights I've had have been with the TBM Improvement and WT g3000 with flights from North America to South America. No issues so far. I do realize that everyone's system/installation is different. Randall Rocke

I realized I didn't put in all of the context. The maker of the TBM TBM improvement mod says this:(SU5 Issue) Aircraft can CTD your SIM sometimes if G3000 Mod + Navigraph/Shift+Z Toolbar Panel is installed. Removing the Shift-Z toolbar fixed my battery on CTD. Apparently it's the same with the Navigraph thing.
