Weather accurate to METAR?

Wow. That looks incredible! Are the abrupt transitions only when you're "in" the haze or do you also notice them from above?

I was flying towards an area of light haze that 'morphed' into thicker haze.  I can live with that for now as the haze effect is superb.

wow that looks good. PS you can re-enable trackIR in the camera menu.

No  - clicking on the slider does nothing, will not turn on.

Oooh ok that's not so bad! I was worried that it was going to be like X-Plane/P3D where the whole weather scene redraws and you went from clouds to clear skies to clouds again.

It says there is no metar for TIST. I wonder why.

The clouds didn't change and haze only changed in that one area.  All other haze areas stayed the same. The change was a morph rather than instant change and the transition to other areas remained very good.

Pausing TIR will recenter then lock the view. I have to go into the camera bar and toggle the switch back on while TIR is in the unpaused state… Bingo, it works … until you pause it again. Rinse repeat.

A “work around” but by no means a good solution

Likely because it considers it obsolete. The latest Metar i can find from TIST is over 3 hours old.

Thanks for the pics in this thread.  Looks like wx improved...hope they address the TIR issue - I use TIR as much as my flight controls.

I am flying directly towards Los Angeles.  You can just see thick cloud to my right and the cloud depicted for different airports ahead.  The effect is very nice indeed.  When the metar changes, only the clouds over that individual airport start a gradual change to the new conditions.

MS/Asobo have done a very good job of merging the predictive and metar weather.

Oh man that looks incredible! Why do I have to be at work 😰😰

Now I am starting to understand why MS/Asobo do not want to open up the weather api to 3rd parties. word not allowed, that looks absolutely incredible!

Cool.  I'm curious though what's with your gauges?  Is that from the new arrow patch?  The look condensed on the inside.  The glass is foggy.
