Uh oh, common denominator = Microsoft! Actually I can cope with the fits, starts interspersed with period of brilliance that is MSFS. What I'm having trouble with now is waiting for FSCaptain to arrive. I really miss my career in that and if they ever get here it will be very hard to tear myself away from this. That was such a well done career add on for P3D and their particular recipe for what to include in it was perfect complete with the FMC-like interface that comes with it and integration with GSX. I did install OnAir the other day but haven't started the trial yet. December 8, 20214 yr I switched back to P3D 5.3. I thought Asobo learned from their mistakes, since the last SUs were quite "stable", but this is too much for me now. It's right now come down to: Load the sim and hope the sim is still working. This is inacceptable, I don't have time for this as a father of two little children. I want to use my spare time for flying. Now for three days being back to P3D I am really relaxed. It just works and it has everything I need (god how much I missed GSX!). It is ugly as hell but at least it doesn't disappoint me constantly. I think I will stay here for a couple of months and come back when/if things really settled down with Asobo. Even the PMDG 737 will not have me come back, because I'm afraid it will break every second day or some SDK thing is missing or whatever. For you staying with MSFS I wish you much patience and hope you do not become too frustrated; after all it's still a young sim. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

I really hope non-beta users get this fixed for-real ASAP (ie this week). This bug makes the sim genuinely unflyable with real weather. It’s bad.
