This mess is getting worse and worse. The only explanation to this ridiculous circus is that they are attempting to fix the weather in real time and we are witnessing their tweaking and experimenting LIVE.

Now we are transitioning from buggy updates released without checking to introducing new bugs live, meanwhile people are playing the game.

What a world we live in...

Like I wrote in the other forum, I just climbed to FL430 in the TBM.  It's probably just the Airbus drivers with their fancy built-in electronic flight dictators that doesn't let them climb into the cozy air, which in turn had the effect that I saw only one of them on that flight while I was baking my breakfast croissants on the back seat. He was bouncing between FL 220 and FL240 like a fly in a glass case.🙂

It is not just airbus. 

Yeah I know but it seems the Boeings are getting a few 1000ft higher.  However, the turbine doesn't seem to mind the bug at all, apart from IAS dropping shortly before FS240, TAS, GS and AOA remained OK all the way up to FL430, ITT obviously not but the PT-6 is apparently happy with melting fan blades. 🙂

solves the problem of wondering whether you have your de-icing settings set correctl either in the a/c or in the sim.

Always a silver lining 🙂

The sim is unusable right now... also low VFR flying:

 

 

It is where and when you fly, I suppose. I have put on this forum and there, a couple of shots showing particularly bad clouds in Borneo and Switzerland. On the other hand, I did a good flight yesterday with the DC-6 from Assam to Manipur in India at FL155 with an ILS approach to Imphal. Convincing cloud cover and winds. Actually I did it three times over the day because I haven't flown the 6 for quite a while and made shameful goofs the first two tentatives 😄.

It is not unflyable for me but I never fly high enough to get the temperature anomalies.

When this problem started? all of the sudden? or was there since SU7 and nobody notice it?

Problem was there above FL 440 when UP7 was released, however halfway through Thursday it started happening at Flight Level 240 and above, like they tweaked something in the background. Strange.

Can't you fly with preset weather until there is a fix, or doesn't that not work either?
