YESSS!!

BTW, it's easy to get FlightAware to find all of the current A320 flights in the world and sort them in order of flight time:

https://flightaware.com/live/aircrafttype/A320?;offset=0;order=filed_ete;sort=ASC

At least 20 of them have estimated flight times of under 40 minutes and arguably any of these could be flown at a cruise altitude of FL250 or less. In some places, even longer flights are altitude limited in order to avoid conflicts with crossing flights at higher altitudes. See, for example

https://www.fly.faa.gov/rmt/nfdc_preferred_routes_database.jsp

and type JFK and BOS into the relevant fields. These short flights are very demanding of good technique because so much is going on in a short time.

Anyway, good news that things are back on track.

Confirmed. I decided to try a flight with live weather enabled. I'm passing through FL290 now. I switched over here to ask if it was working for anyone else..

Edit: Sitting at FL370 OAT -55C. 🙂

This is a game "not reality" time to deal with it or move on.

No! It may be a game but key aspects continue to fall short of what has long been available with predecessors and addons.  THAT is the reality that many of us are struggling to accept!

Personally I will not move on as you taunted.  Instead on three recent occasions when I had flights scheduled that would obviously be flown in IMC conditions, I moved back, back to what worked.

According to the official forum the oven/volcanic ash layer is back now (but apparently moved up to FL250).

Thankfully MSFS is still 98+% fully functional, at least for those not using VR/TrackIR I believe, though the creative have apparently found some workarounds.

Considering that the cloud level bug has a pretty bad impact on VFR by covering whole countries and areas including airports with IMC where at least some yellow/marginal conditions should be and all the little things that have to be worked around or ignored currently, I find "98% functional" a little enthusiastic.

Pointless to discuss with certain people. Now someone will reply telling you to use your fantasy and imagine that there has been a nuclear conflict or that aliens have descended on earth and hiding in the mist they generated, like in Stephen King's "The Mist" novel.

Hm..if you play that over some fitting dystopian scenery backdrop like Chicago photogrammetry... sounds pretty good!  Alas RW is already dystopian enough so I'd prefer something with unicorns and vanilla sauce rivers in FS and we'd need different bugs for that. 🙂

But what I was saying is not that different, some things can be dealt with, e.g. a broken ice light is what it is, a broken light bulb, word not allowed happens, some bugs can be integrated into reality, pose an entertaining challenge, force you to do something else that might turn out to be fun... something good can be extracted from everything if your mind is structured that way.  However, this has limits of course, and it may not work >n times in a row and you can't blame people if that's not their favorite kind of fun.

It sure is if you are not a weather programmer than just let be gone until they "Asobo" fix it other than that just yapping gums for no reason. You have a solution let us hear it.?

That’s the next addon, after world update 9.

Just packed it in again, just now from EDDM to EGPF. Had to get down to FL230. SAT and TAT was 223 degrees

Nope.

Shortly after reaching my cruising altitude of 35,000 feet, my plane fell out of the sky preceded by bright red cas messages on the pfd. 😀

I can confirm this is definitely not fixed!
