Hey, there everyone,  (warning! loong winded post, with bad grammar...)  I have not really posted so much in the past, but I have Really enjoyed reading this site!

Ever since the Magnificent; Looking Glass - Flight Unlimited 3 and it's Beechjet 400A sim done by Peter James (The program manager), I have had a passion for this cool and humble GA aircraft/ Business jet... It had it all Cool Glass-cockpit and Kingair style engine stack and Thrust reverser buckets. My first encounter with this aircraft "outside" of FU3, was with Abacus Corporate Pilot boxed edition with a cool manual, and then I just lusted for a even more advanced Corporate aircraft version!
Then OUT OF THE BLUE.... Enter..  Eaglesoft Simulations .... I really loved the Bechjet 400A/Raytheon Hawker400XP that They Eaglesoft made, for FS2004/FSX/Prepar3D woww !!!

But recently when I asked about it's status for updated version? on their forum, I learned that exact aircraft has been "retired"(probably for good) by Eaglesoft Development Group!!!   Noooooo....  :nangis: :pedih: what to doo... no Beechjet anymore..? sooo sad....

Fast forward a year or two..
So I have this this CRRRAAYZYYY idea :uwe_melk:?????,
What IF Iittle ol humble me) provide the Aircraft to the community at no cost!!!.... Yesss NO COST (Professional 3D model)...
"Sadly" I myself DO NOT have the "skills" to Provide this 3D model, but I have something up my sleeve that might be cool, and also free from me..  As a THANK YOU to the Flightsim community for all the FANTASTIC Aircraft and Scenery you provided me with over the years)...:biggrin::blush:

Could we then as the community pull it off? to get the Humble Beechjet400A in our sim again????
(I mentioned... IT WAS a CRRRRRAZY IDEA!!!!)

Would Loooove to see this bird in Virtual Reality and then have come FULL circle, With fully Advanced Weather, FANTASTIC graphics for the Pacific Northwest of MSFS-2020..?....:cool:

Looking forward to your "thoughts" on this... both positive and negative and pragmatic

Kind Regards
from Norway

I liked that old beechjet as well.  Well that and the C750.  Eaglesoft sort of got way behind in the development world.  I think their latest was the C56X but only for 32bit P3D.

Eaglesoft seems pretty much dead.

Yep, I agree.  Ron ran out of steam amongst some personal problems.  I was working with him on a new Learjet for FSX when it all came apart.  That is unfortunate, for sure. His Beechjet had a nice following and would make a good addition to MSFS provided you can attract a good mod team to tweak it.  I would like to see any new Corporate jet brought in to MSFS.

Ray

That's truly the type of aircraft I'm after.  Good ones are hard to come by in any sim, really.  There's a nice Challenger coming for XP11 (but it'll have to be updated cause XP12 is coming in soon afaik).  Speaking of XP12, they seem to have the older Citation X included with the base sim - that'll be at least worth a look for me.  The Flysimware Lear 35 and the other Lear 25 (forgot the creator name) was very good - but both analogue kinda not my favorite (although I know the FSW Lear now has an FMS option).  The WT CJ4 isn't super complete systems-wise but for avionics and for a low price of free - it's very very good.  It's a bit slow.  I like the Longitude better but we'll have to wait till WT updates the G3000 to make that Garmin suite more of a capable navigation system.  I know there are a few bizjets in progress - but appear to be very early stages....  there's a Falcon 900, a Phenom 100 or 300, maybe another Lear (but again analogue gauges).  There's the Cirrus Vision Jet which I'll likely buy but it's really slow in the bizjet realm.  Milviz had a Lear 60XR going I think for P3D.  Not sure if they plan on bringing that to MSFS.  Hope so- as that is a type of bizjet I'd love to see.  I guess if I had a choice it would be a quick Falcon, like 2000S, or FA8X etc.  Love to see a Global jet too.  Just something fast...like .85 or better MMO.  Fast and glass hehe!

Hey guys!  Happy to see some response from the community?  (I thought I was alone in the world liking "this specific" aircraft)

whadda ya say Ray Marshall ? Do you think we "could" rally a team together? to make something out of this?  ? ? I remember fondly you making a team in Aerofly-2 for an cub-style aircraft!! , it may have failed/stranded in the end... BUT there was nothing to say on the "effort.. to get that far".. I have seen too many Bredok style aircraft and or Carenado style aircraft on marketplace.. The Developer "encrypting" a aircraft "which hinders the community to improve on the purchase" So many talented modders/developers avaliable on the FS2020 platform already..
I want to do the UNTHINKABLE of buying an aircraft and giving it FREELY to the community to be modded instead of hiding it "behind encryption"   --screw that cheap payware route--   There have been some amazing Freeware in the past..
Let's try and revive that spirit of building?

Well, someone is working on a Honda Jet, but that seems to be moving at the speed of molasses.

I mean, I'd be happy with a Citation Mustang.

There just doesn't seem to be that kind of market for glass bizjets, folks either want another rust bucket, or the 234th iteration of the A320 or the Boeing 737.

This. I'll use PMDG as an example. They make great products and I have them all. But, I'm just getting tired of them just releasing newer versions of the same plane, over and over again. I wish they would release something completely new. I know there's supposedly a 757 on the horizon, but - they've already done a 757, albeit years and years ago. Some fresh innovation would be nice. Imagine a PMDG biz jet!?! Would be amazing.

I would like a nice "hybrid" glass-cockpit myself, Collins Proline 4 +kingair style engine stack, the Beechjet 400A/Hawker400XP has a perfect blend "of Glass and steam", fast challenging swept wings flight-dynamics, and a bit noisy...  and THRUST-reverser-Buckets.. and well the FU-3 Legacy it has for me though!  sorry can't help it hahah..

YESSS.  I like glass and steam mixed as well.  The kinds of flight decks we used to see more of (made 20-25 years ago for example).

The latest Textron upgrades for the Beechjet look really nice.  Pushes the range out to 1900 nm.

These (Phenom and Falcon) are in progress?  Way cool, who is working on them?  Or did you mean by "few bizjets" the HondaJet and similar?

I just want a Lear 45 SO badly. The 60XR looks kinda goofy to me for some reason. Maybe even a Lear 75? Maybe one day...

I had a ton of fun flying Beechjet niner Lima golf back in the flight unlimited days!

:biggrin:     Beechjet niner Lima golf   ....please...  don't taxi on the grass... the real fluid Human-ATC and adventures in that sim was revolutionary...
Beechjet 400A, Aircraft-Registration: 9-LG  would be one of the very first livery to be made haha...

I'm hoping Carenado brings the Hawker,XL560,390 Premiere and S550 Citation to MSFS.

I loved the H25B H850XP in FSX!

One of the most beautiful exterior/interior models in FSX IMO.
