I can't seem to adjust the CG. I think that's the issue!

Just load the aircraft from the opening screen in MSFS and it shows you the CG as you are loading it.

So you have to load and adjust the CG before you press "Fly" and load in?

So start the flight, then open W&B and load pax and cargo ?

Load the aircraft before you start the flight, as you would in the real world.

Wrong.

O boy lol you have to learn some things 😉
Bob in this case you are wrong 😉 Aircraft can be loaded via two ways in MSFS 😉 As for the RW well you can't compare the W&B with the RW lol and the flows...

In this case there is a bug on some systems that's doesn't show up the load visual (3d objects)

This is a work around 😉 If you call it wrong well that makes me smile...

If you don't load the aircraft before starting the flight, you won't see the co pilot. Try it and you will see I am right and you are wrong. See you just leaned something.

Intially I was having some quite heavy framerate issues and stutters at airports, issues that I didn't get with the stock aircraft or the BN-2. Fair enough I thought, the kodiak is probably more demanding of the CPU and my PC isn't exactly top of the range. I could pull the fuses that everyone suggested and get a few more frames but the stutters persisted. Otherwise very pleased with the aircraft after the update. I would rather not have to pull fuses though.

In the middle of last week I was forced into a a reinstall of windows, MSFS and all addons, what a pain. However after all of the faffing about MSFS and the Kodiak are now running better than ever. Still slightly poorer frames and some micro stutters in comparison with the stock aircraft but much, much better. I have no idea why, my initial install of windows and MSFS was on virgin SSD's.

A great aircraft and much VFR enjoyment.  One very minor gripe ATM though is the heat shimmer from the engine, it seems way over done. A distraction seen from the cock pit in the air and even worse viewed stationary and externally on the tarmac. Is there any way to switch the effect off in config?

RW floats costs $400,000 for the Kodiak 100 Series II, wonder what the SWS float version will cost us?  I'm ready to fly the Kodiak on floats, how about you?

Ray

More than ready with my wallet open. I thought I heard February but I could be mistaken. I wonder which float version will come first, the Kodiak or the Milviz Porter?

Are the water physics in msfs well portrayed?

Probably could still use improvements, but, having a couple of popular airplanes available with floats will keep the those needs in the forefront
