But what he is doing is to call up the standard Asobo attitude speed backup gauge to put that on the panel to replace the other Kodiak backup gauge. Which increases fps by about 10. My point is that what he writes is correct, but what he says is not. He says it is a standard Aerosoft gauge. But you don't need to have some sort of gauge from Aerosoft, all you need is the Asobo attitude speed backup gauge which everybody already has. But what he writes is correct and will work. And I believe you should have to write it into every panel.cfg file for the Kodiak (i.e. the float plane, the wheel plane, etc.). 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. By the way, copying the new path that he added to the panel.cfg will work for default and non default MSFS locations, and for both Steam and MS store versions. Change one line for lots more f.p.s. ! But you can't get to the panel.cfg very easily if you have a plane purchased from the marketplace 😞 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. That said, I am unable to get this trick to work. Copied exactly as shown and commented out the original but I get a blank standby screen. I am using the WT version of the G1000 Nxi though. Is this supposed to work with that?? Eric i9-12900k, RTX 5070ti OC, 32GB ddr5 5600 RAM, 2TB 980 Pro SSD, Titan 240RX AIO, Samsung CRG90 49", Win 11

January 24, 20224 yr What he writes is just the filename along with the last part of the path to that file. Open Windows File Explorer and right click in the top path bar and save it as text. And then paste it into panel.cfg line. You can't mistype if you cut and paste like that. I have steam version and had moved MSFS to C:/msfs2020 folder. The gauge filename in question is: AS1000_AttitudeSpeedBackup.html so right clicking on path bar in the file explorer folder that holds that file, copies this complete path as text: C:\msfs2020\Official\Steam\asobo-vcockpits-instruments-navsystems\html_ui\Pages\VCockpit\Instruments\NavSystems\AS1000_BackupDisplay\AttitudeSpeed So I paste in the last part of that path text followed by the file name: NavSystems\AS1000_BackupDisplay\AttitudeSpeed\AS1000_AttitudeSpeedBackup.html But you also have to tell panel.cfg exactly where to put the gauge (x and y coordinates) and its size (height and width). January 27, 20224 yr Did someone else get this plane off simmarket? I realized that the newest file I can download from my account there still has the version number 1.0.0 in its manifest.json file, although the file dates from 24.12.2021, which is the update day for 1.0.4. I already tried to get in contact with SMS via mail, no answer so far. So I am acutally pretty unsure if I have the patched version 1.0.4 and the .json file is simply not correct or if I really have "only" the release version 1.0.0... January 27, 20224 yr Just now, AnkH said: No one? Not really a good sign for SWS support to not answer mail support request for such a long time... Hope this is not another dev that disqualifies itself due to very bad support... Odd. I mailed them once and got a reply pretty quickly. You could also contact them on Discord: that way you might get support even faster. (You should have bought it from SWS directly anyway btw.)
