I don't understand your question. What unreal spawn? If you choose less than 100% traffic, you will have less than real life, yes.

Well if you end up (like me) walking around the airport in avatar mode and watching from up close all those beautiful individual liveries, even though P3D is not the most beautiful sim, then you can really say that AIG has quite some effect, yes 🙂

That there ARE a few YouTube 'how to' hold hand video's, suggests to me that installing and getting results to the screen, ain't no walk in the park...LOL!  Later....

It looks intimidating, and I was intimidated the first time, but once it clicks you see it's easy. To be honest, I think it's mainly the bad UI and the unexplained options (that you don't need at all) that intimidate people.

I am still using my tried and tested pre-Covid manually installed AI database (civilian and military) with P3Dv4.5, and long may that continue

 Not quite, if you fly on any Thursday, you will get the traffic that flew on the Thursday of the week that those airlines plans we based on. 

 The Ryanair plans available from OCI, for instance were collected during the week of 22th - 28th July 2019 whereas the American Airlines are from 12th - 18th July 2021. They are a snapshot from time, some newer than others. Covid threw a massive wrench in why many of them are still 2018, and 2019.

Well, you don't install the airlines that are no longer in business. 🙄

 Using RealTraffic etc still requires that you pay for it monthly and also have the models and thousands of repaints updated for v4/5 with PBR etc. BGL traffic definitely has it's quirks but Real time traffic has its share of them as well.

I want to see busy airports with lots of different airlines. I am not really bothered whether they still exist or not. In some ways, the decimation of the airline industry by Covid 19 has made it easier for me to accept this. Long live the Flybe Dash 8Q-400s on my PC!

By default no airline gets shown that did not exist in 2018 (you can change that date). Not sure what you are up to.

You still get inaccurate flights due to charters, Ferrys etc etc. 

Some of the Aig schedules are 5 years old. 

Correct you'll need a good ai pack which I have, psxseecon will tell you at the end of the flight what missing liveries you need. 

I don't mind paying a yearly subscription to Realtraffic as you can use it on both P3D and xp11

I can follow in real time the actual flight I'm doing so long as its in coverage

The Aig schedules do not have as accurate flight data as Realtraffic. 

They don't have

adhoc charters,

ferry or positioning sectors,

cargo runs, private ga traffic. 

Also the airlines schedules are increasingly fluid due covid. 

But Aig will give you plenty of eye candy. 

Let's also not forget the downfall of FLAI was due to a few people at throwing their toys out the pram.  The forums at Aig was horrific for it.

 AIG adds tons of cargo and might have even more private GA than Realtime as many of them are blocked irl. I watch realism all day from high above the airport when at work and personally prefer the ease of the bgl traffic. You said it right though, it's all just eye candy to fill the gates which is another fault of the real traffic as it really does miss a lot, turn off the transponder when parked and the traffic is gone. 

On a side note, the downfall of FLAI was from FLAI not playing by the terms of agreement they had with the various developers. AIG's AI Manager does an even better job than FLAI did as it is with more up to date models and way more liveries.

apologies ....... I don't use TC & was unaware of its feature in this (traffic %).

I use an ATC addon that controls AI.
