Toolbar Pushback

Featured Replies

So he is aware and working on fix.  I think it may be related to SU7 so not sure it will be fixed until at least SU8 but who knows for sure.

I've had no success.  Once I turn on ATC Voices in the Assistance menu, I hear all the ATC word not allowed.  I see no way to turn off ATC.

With it on I still get no voice on pushback.  On the Pushback pop up, before I start the pushback all options appear to be on. Once I start the pushback the top two (one related to voice) are greyed out.  I don't know if this is normal.

So for now I'll have to do wiothout the voice part of the pushack.

Hello all, and sorry for hacking to the thread but I have a similar issue with the push-back tool, I am only flying A320n of FBW and DC-6 of PMDG

  1. I did not know there was an active audio with the ground crew! never worked with me except once by accident!!
  2. I managed to hear the ground crew when I wanted to move the plane little to the back -to allow for the Jetway-  at C&D situation.
  3. I sent the developer an inquiry, a very nice guy BTW,  he said at some airports the sound doesn't work because the airport doesn't have ground services.
  4. I was waiting fro the last update but sound doesn't work at any airport such as  KATL, KBOS you name it.
  5. I can hear ATC with me and other pilots also other sounds of the plane works

Any help will be appreciated

Best regards

The audio is a very experimental feature, and therefore still very bugged. I'd say just wait until it gets improved, there's not much anyone else can help you with.
If it annoys you, you can disable it via the "options".

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

No problem with pushback audio for me with or without ATC. As long as a pushback truck is actually present. Rogue third part airports which disable ground services have been the issue.

I've had 0xc0000005 CTD yesterday in the middle of a 6 hours flight (787 heavy division), I actually wasn't at the PC at the moment so it was nothing I "did". Since I only recently returned to MSFS, I have no idea if this is due to the 1.4 version of the Toolbar Pushback - I've read of CTDs over at flightsim.to, but I also did 2 flights with the 1.4 version and without a CTD. Anyone else has hard crashes without any previous user input with the 1.4 version?
If MSFS now starts crashing on its own without any obvious culprit, I'll be going right back to P3D, I ain't got no time for this...

@tjrush

Were you ever able to make the Toolbar Pushback audio work?

I just started using this tool and have yet to hear a single word from the pushback guys on the ground. I've tried what was suggested in this thread to make sure ATC voices are enabled in MSFS. Of course, I also have the audio option for voices enabled in Toolbar Pushback. I've also made sure starting the pushback from a parking where ground power is available as well as making sure the aircraft is powered up. All to no avail.

Any ideas would be highly appreciated!

Sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately the answer is no. Still no audio.

I had this same problem, try setting your sound devices in the MSFS sim general options to system default, I found that naming the output stopped the sounds.

Hope this helps

Thanks, that was how I already had it set but I also tried with named devices with no luck.

Now I'm not using it anymore after hearing it seems to cause issues for people with PMDG's newly released 737.

I have been using this great pushback tool for a while now with no problems. Suddenly I tried to use it with the CRJ out of Southampton and though I could set up the pushback ok when I pushed the request for pushback nothing happens. No voices, no request for action. Nothing!

I spent all afternoon trying to figure this out and concluded it has to do with Orbx Southampton that I purchased yesterday.

I tried the 737 there. Exactly the same I tried both aircraft in Manchester and the pushback tool works perfectly.

The pushback distances in Southampton are quite short. Would that be the reason for the pushback tool not working properly other than using the manual option?
