December 30, 20214 yr Amazing how it all just exploded. I remember musing that now that there was a sim that actually had modern graphics, the modders from places like Cities: Skylines and other gaming-type titles that never paid attention to, or created anything for a flightsim before might now show up, and how skeptical some seemed at that possibility..... https://flightsim.to/scenery-map We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically. December 31, 20214 yr Is there another way to get scenery? Lol it is the only way I have downloaded scenery from the beginning. I look at the area I am heading to and make sure there is nothing I need to DL!
December 31, 20214 yr Using flightsim.to map I managed to fill in some airports I needed for a Western USA route, using mostly Asobo bespoke airports. Then I mapped with others I had installed over on Google My Maps. 9 Red icons Asobo default airports. 4 Blue icons current sale in MSFS Marketplace. Sale ends Jan.4. 4 yellow icons free from flightsim.to. From the top: Friday Harbor, Seattle, Siletz Bay Orbx, Murrey Field Orbx, San Francisco, San Jose Orbx, Oceano, Santa Barbara Orbx, Los Angeles, Miramar San Diego, Amboy, Sedona Az, Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Tellerude, Aspen, Denver. Oceano has been called the most perfect weather spot on Earth. Amboy is tiny strip where apparently Harrison Ford used to land at for a hideaway. https://www.route66news.com/2018/09/03/flying-into-amboy/ 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. December 31, 20214 yr Another cool map to see whats all inside the sim. (Sometimes I wonder why there is no Payware/Freeware Airport and forget that is included in the sim.) https://www.google.de/maps/@8.9439966,-77.6717264,3z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!6m1!1s1KUg5jwyT_9k2A9n5IZ99UChlhfVUfO5S Stephan from Germany My System
December 31, 20214 yr I've downloaded hundreds of addons from flightsim.to, mostly airports and sceneries. Most have been keepers for me - I've only discarded about 5% of what I've downloaded. The map is excellent, though I preferred the original map. Best thing is that if you go to your profile, it tells you if any of the mods you have downloaded have been updated. Addon sceneries have pretty well doubled my enjoyment of msfs. Hats of to the devs who have given so much time and effort for our pleasure. Must haves for everyone must include masts and aerials parts 1 and 2 and Henrik's global shipping addons and of course object libraries if you like airport mods.
